After our poor experience with a certain sports bar that references coconuts, we stopped at Murphy's. The owner (cant remember his name now) streamed in our beloved Canadian Junior Hockey games just for us. We had a wonderful time and loved the conversation. We will certainly stop by when we return next year!

Food was surprisingly good. Many items are tapas style so you can try different multiple items for the price of one meal. They also offer full meals. Cervesaâs are ice cold. Recommend stopping by for tapas.

Ordered the salmon. The portion was extremely small, service was horrible. Very slow, had to repeatedly chase my waiter, and remind him twice about my order. We had an amazing dinner on our last night in Costa Rica. Chef Luis prepared a delicious and original pasta dish with the fresh Yellowfin Tuna our group caught earlier that day. The skirt steak on the sea salt block was also tender and flavorful. The service was impeccable. Only wish we had known about this gem earlier on our trip. Would definitely recommend. Best dinner in Costa Rica.

One of our favourite places to stop in Coco. The food is good, staff friendly and fast ... the band playing the night we were there was good but too loud and never took a break so we couldnât talk to people we met. My husband didnât like the ribs but my wings were excellent!

This place has been my favorite restaurant in Guanacaste so far!! The draw is the out of this world view, but the food and drinks are also fantastic! The waiter recommended the avocado fries and they did not disappoint! The octopus in my boyfriendâs burger and my poke bowl were perfectly cooked. Our family of six had a fun time finding this place, and were glad we did. It's a great place to relax by the beach, have some tropical drinks and good food. We stayed around to watch the sun set on a huge rock between two islands off shore. The team of servers was very attentive. Our only complaint would be the constant battle to keep pesky flies off of our drinks and food.Hello Birdguy: Thank you for your review and for your business! I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. I have watched many sunsets between the mountain and island in front of Father Rooster. It is quite a display. Glad you enjoyed the food and drinks. I wish that we had a better solution for the flies. They come on occasion and cover the entire region--generally when the winds are pushing out from the farmland over the ocean. It is pretty tough to keep them at bay. In any case, thanks again for your business and please come back again soon!
