Arrived at Gotemba Premium Outlets around 11 10am. Tip: go straight to Uogashi and get a table immediately as restaurant soon fills up and a queue starts forming by noon. This way you'll have made better use of your limited time. Order your sushi using iPad and delivered via conveyor. Especially enjoyed the seared Tamago (egg).

Our Panoramic Japan Tour-"Fuji-Hakone" stopped at this "Fuji Matsu View" windmill restaurant for their(1000 Yen each) Asian Buffet. Our guide placed us at shared tables on the porch, before we self served among the varied Asian choices; fish, clams, chicken ravioli, roasted chicken wings, fried boneless chicken, grilled tofu, fruit/vegetable salads, pickles, mizo soup, fruit drinks, and coffee, tea. The food was filling and delicious providing timely value for our 2PM group tour lunch.Next door was a nice souvenir shop to brouse and clean restrooms.

We always buy our Kamaboko (mashed-up fish cakes???) and Aji Himono (sun-dried Horse Mackeral) souvenirs from here, after shopping in Gotemba Outlet Mall. It's open until 6 p.m. and there's plenty of free parking. If you can't get to any of the stores in and around Odawara, Hakone or Izu, this is a great stop for buying fresh kamaboko and himono, etc. They also sell local beers, soft drinks, jams and recently I noticed fish supplements, too. The different types of fish sausages are really unique (I personally prefer beef or pork) and good fun for the barbie. They also have Valentines Day Kamaboko, just now ... which is cute. There is a little restaurant area to the side of the shop, where you can sit down and eat some snacks. We always find Suzuhiro Kamaboko is always fresh and has a great variety of tastes. They make the perfect extras for a big hotpot of oden, now for winter.Thank you so much for visiting us! we are so happy to hear that you enjoyed our all natural seafood/Kamaboko and our craft beer. If you have a chance to visit Odawara, we have a Kamaboko village in Odawara. You can make your own Kamaboko, Chikuwa and/or fried Kamaboko by yourself at Kamaboko museum in the Kamaboko Village complex and we brew our beer there using Hakone mountains spring water there.
