I came here with a friend who lives in the area, and knew about this place because of the local seafood served here. However, it, like other businesses, were affected by the 2011 tsunami. So, while they are open and running again, their location has changed somewhat. I am not sure exactly where it is, but within a block of its original location, according to my friend. I would ask someone in the area to help you find it! That said, we came here for lunch after a nice hike at Goishi park. The proprietor recommended the house special, which was kaisen don (seafood rice bowl). It came as a bowl of rice topped with abundant treasures from the sea, so fresh, you'd think he had gone out fishing earlier that day! The place is typically Japanese, with low tables and zabuton (cushions) placed on the floor for seating. Service was prompt and courteous. This may be a cash only place. We were the only ones there, as we were there towards the end of the lunch hours, but I am told that it is a popular dinner and after hours place for those who live and work in the area.
