Find out what Seafood restaurants to try in Mannheim. Baden-Wurttemberg’s second-largest city after Stuttgart, Mannheim lies at the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar Rivers and is rare among German cities for its layout, a grid pattern (or “quadrates”) similar to those found in North America. The grid was originally plotted in 1606 and emanated from Friedrichsburg fortress, which later became the site of Mannheim Palace. Today, it partly houses the University of Mannheim. The city’s iconic water tower and its beautiful Luisenpark are must-sees.

The service, foods and ambient was so perfect that this is the one of the best restaurant that I have ever been. The quality of the food is awesome; I tasted the best cooked shrimps and chicken. The variety of food is perfect; it is traditional and also global.I liked also the ambient, it is inside of a horse farm, you can enjoy by looking the people that riding horses when you eat the good food in a relaxed and really good designed atmosphere. The owner of the restaurant is a lady who is very a nice, kind and lively. You must met and thank to her after you finish your full plate.I feel so lucky to have a meal in there. Great job !

Running sushi with boats which makes the experience great for kids. Two choose platters/set menus, one decided to order Edamame, Yakitori and avocado rolls... two decided for the floating sushi. All very delicious and fresh however some were very small, especially the Yakitori. Service was attentive but not very friendly.Overall a very decent Sushi

After enjoying a nice glass on the terrace next door, the meal at Le Corange was pleasant. Certainly nothing to complain about. The seafood entree was fresh and flavoursome and the sole was very good. Wine list reasonable with a good selection by the glass. Service attentive but not overbearing. Ambience somewhat held back by the fact that now, instead of looking out to the Odenwald, the choice is either the massive building site on Fressgasse or the neighbours roof gardens. I guess I just left unsure whether it quite lived up to the price. It isn't super expensive but it isn't cheap and the food, whilst very good, just lacked an x-factor. It was good, so I'll be back a second time to make up my mind but after visit#1, the take out is that it should have wowed me a bit more for the price.

Le's Sushi Bar is family-owned and it shows. Loving attention to detail, perfect sushi creations and a passionate sushi-chef who clearly loves what he does are just some of the many ways Le's Sushi Bar wins you over with. You can't leave this small gem without feeling satisfied on every level: fish quality: top, service: top, menu selection: top and best of all? The most likeable sushi-devoted family you can imagine! Le, a seasoned and well-known sushi chef, runs his small restaurant together with his daughter and wife and you feel welcome and at home right away. You have to leave eventually, which you will do reluctantly...and you will be back many times, I promise! Le's Sushi Bar is still a hidden secret I'm hesitant to share but from one sushi-lover to another: this place is a MUST-SEE, MUST-TRY.

As every year, the Ristorante Milano offers its guests a four course New Year's Eve Menu and if desired, the participants have also the opportunity to welcome the New Year there. My wife and I used this occasion a few times in the past and stayed here again with a chummy couple. The rooms and tables were festively decorated and exuded welcoming atmosphere. For us as regular guests was the reception very affectionate as always and we enjoyed the courteous and attentive service. As warm-up I enjoyed a Negroni cocktail and after the Italian-influenced amuse bouche we had as first course a mixed starter plate with duck breast carpaccio, pilgrimâs scallop au gratin, oyster and tuna tartar. This delicious entree was followed by two kinds of ravioli stuffed with scallop au saffron sauce and fresh artichoke with butter and sage. The main course was sea bass fried on the skin, beside ratatouille and saffron sauce. For these fish-based dishes we degusted a 2016 Sauvignon âWinklâ Cantina Terlan from Upper Adige. This fresh, delicately fruity and minerally Sauvignon Blanc is an ideal pairing white wine for seafood specialties. We finished the culinary part of the evening with a dessert variation consisting of ice cream, fruit salad and profiteroles.A double espresso together with a barrique aged Chardonnay Grappa from Nonino was a perfect combination for smooth digestion. We welcomed the New Year with a bottle of maximum brut Ferrari sparkling wine with fine perlage and based on chardonnay grapes..The last evening of the year had with this very tasty dinner a successful ending and was worth to come again.

This is a restaurant with a real WOW effect. Every dish served was a pure perfection. My lamb was a dream. Good place for not that much money. I enjoyed it a lot.

Location is somewhat surprising - restaurant is located in the basement floor of the shopping mall. In its food court area. So don't expect any fancy surroundings or particularly unique scenary... But the five course menu was good - a bit uninspirational and non-surprising, but ok. Wines were excellent with some true surprises from local producers. Price level was normal for this type of a restaurant (fairly high...)

This much-hyped and - must-reserve Restaurant turned out to be a disappointment.Perhaps we arrived at an "inopportune" time (19h30), but we were left to wait 20 minutes before a very young and unsure waiter offered us water and Aperitif.Somewhere between large Pasta poster and numerous Brigitte Bardot and Romy Schneider photographs lies the menu. We had Tartare and Octopus Salad for starters, of which the former was pleasant, and the latter a rather difficult battle between acidity an excess oil. Even the wonderful Artichoke served 2 ways was pureed and .... deep fried.Craving freshness, we found the highlight in a refreshing "Pina Colada" sweet after dessert, which was desperately needed after the intense 4 courses.

This was a very long business dinner, but was quite enjoyable. We had a stream of antipasta coming to the table and all were excellent. Also, we each ordered an entree and everyone enjoyed. However, we did not have to order an entree, as we could have extended the antipasta. Coming from the States, I was delighted to find such a nice Italian restaurant with a German theme. The servers allowed for a lot of time for us to enjoy, but plan on a long evening.

No many concerns about the sushi itself, quite good must admit, but quite expensive as well. The restaurant is moderate clean, the service is acceptable. We couldn't pay with credit cards, we have been told "we cannot accept international circuits". Please check before get in, as you need cash.
