Wir waren hier 2 Mal jeweils am Abend. Die Sicht ist super und man ist an der See. Das Ambiente könnte noch etwas besser sein. Ein bisschen zurecht gezimmert. Gleiches gilt für die Küche - jedoch die Leute sind sehr nett, das Essen ist anständig und die Preise moderat. Wären sonst auch nicht ein zweites Mal gekommen :))Kommen wieder zum Matjes essen :))

Es geht einfach nicht ohne! Die Umgebung passt einfach, die Mitarbeiterinnen sind immer sehr freundlich und natürlich das wichtigste: es ist einfach lecker! Egal ob Backfisch, Kibbeling oder Fischbrötchen, hier schmeckt es einfach super lecker. Auch der Matjes zum mitnehmen ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Found staff very odd , were offered a table on the middle in front of the door , as it was 1.30 pm and about a third full I asked if we could sit at the back but was given an abrupt "NO"The waiter then stood over us immediately waiting for our order . "Can I get an apple juice ? " - "NO"Later My partner was halfway through ordering a drink when the waitress abandoned us to greet customers walking in and took them to their table. After eating Waiter again stood over us for the money - no bill just asked for the amount then gave us the bill once paid. Food is good and is good value , service could be seen as entertaining I suppose

A place like this was missing in Emden: trendy and chic mixing old local recipes with international infused creations. Price was higher than it should for quality and location. The place was half full and we still waited 30 minutes for the entrees. However, we would repeat and were not deceived. This is one of the nicer places in Emden these days.

An interesting old boat. We were greeted like old friends when we dropped in here by coincidence. Apparently it changed hands recently. The menu is short but offers something for everyone and I definitely ate the best "Bratkartoffeln", fried potatoes, here that I found in the whole of Lower Saxony. Try the regional specialties and you won't be disappointed.

We had a great meal here. The salad bar and homemade dressing was really good. I loved the fish that I was served with the housewife potatoes, which I discovered are on most German menus. It was right in the city center and had a nice view of the Harbor outside.

Meeresfrüchte, Labskaus, Fleisch-, vegane-, sowie vegetarische Gerichte. Glutenfrei. Der Grundsatz, den Gast zu verwöhnen und ihn damit zur Wiederkehr aufzufordern ist für uns ein gestecktes Ziel, und wir sind glücklich es immer wieder zu erleben.

Their fish dishes are their specialty and albeit you cannot call it gourmet food, the quality is very good and you will not leave the place hungry ..if you do it is your own fault!The hostess and owner of the restaurant is very nice and chatty and it all contributes to a good experience.Will definitely come back if I return to Emden at any point.
