One of the best places in Nijmegen. They have local beer (serafijn is a must) and burgers, which come at a reasonable price (not cheap, but ok) and are also quite tasty. Burgers are served with chips, which definitely could be better (and the portions larger), and tasty salads (not just some stupid grass from the backyard, like elsewhere in Nijmegen, I mean real salads). Another good thing, this place is often far from being full, so there is plenty of space and empty tables, feels very good.

I tried this restaurant whilst staying overnight in a local hotel - it was cold and I couldn't be bothered to walk into the central area of the town. It's a lovely, cosy place, and the welcome is warm. The menu offers fairly standard fare - various meat, fish, salad options, etc, but on my experience this evening the cooking is of a good quality. I particularly enjoyed a main course of catfish (which replaced the menu of cod, which wasn't available) and the chips were fabulous! The prices are very reasonable - around £25.00 for a two course meal with two glasses of wine.I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.

This place is something special. Pizza like youâve never tasted it before (for example pizza with pumpkin and hazelnuts, so delicious - who knew!). Real wood fired oven, locally sourced ingredients. Delicious side dishes as well. The staff are super relaxed, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend it.

In an older (abandoned) industrial area where new places are popping up to enjoy a nice coffee or in this case a nice beer and burger. Stoom is a micro brewery with lots of different beers on tap. Mine, I like pilsener, was actually pretty good and since I was the designated driver I'm sorry I couln't get another one. The burgers we got all around were very nice and excellent size. Cool place to go.

The Blaauwe Hand is truly world class. The bar keepers are very knowledgeable and are more than happy to make suggestions. They have a good variety of local and regional beers from the Netherlands and Belgium. The food is homemade and tastes great. There's nothing quite like having a few at this place, with the beer served properly, in its proper glass. The afternoon and evening just fly by.
