I was about to met a friend I haven't seen in 10 years in the favorite place of my sister and her husband, the Goldstück in Recklinghausen, Germany.My sister told me much about this place but when I walked in I was a bit disappointed. I knew it was small, but this small...? The friendly welcome quickly blew the fist disappointment away. The nice and tasteful interior of the bar make you feel at home rather quick. Warm light throughout the bar, never too dark. The menu is not too extensive but all items seem carefully selected and everything seems to be something special. Hot specialities and cool cocktails, bottled beers and a wide range of juices and softdrinks. Beside the drinks there is the list of delicious snacks and small dishes. All items carefully selected and expertly placed by the proud owner of the bar.No matter if you need a place to meet to start the evening in town or you want to stay all night, the Goldstück promises good times ahead!There is the rumour they want to open a second bar, so stay tuned!Dear CHMbangkok,Thank your very much for your rating.Hope to see you soon again in our bar manufacture.Kind regards

Zuerst sollte man wissen, dass es hier einen Betreiberwechsel gab. Die Vorgänger hatten in deren letzten Zeit nicht mehr wirklich einen guten Ruf!Daher wünsche ich dem jetzigen Betreiberpaar alles Gute! Das Essen bei Euch gestern stimmt mich positiv. Mit meiner Familie war ich an einem Samstag hier und wir bestellten die Tagesgerichte und ein Kinderessen. Die meisten von uns hatten den Erbseneintopf mit Einlage und Brötchen. Zusätzlich gab es dann am Tisch noch zwei Schnitzel in verschiedenen Variationen. Zu den Schnitzel können wir sagen, nicht nur super lecker und saftig, sondern auch frische Ware, kein TK Fertigschnitzel aus der Fritteuse, sondern selbst geklopft und paniert, einfach Lecker!!Der Erbseneintopf, war ebenfalls hervorragend abgeschmeckt mit viel Fleisch und natürlich Erbsen. Die BegrüÃung als auch die weitere Bedienung war sehr freundlich und herzlich. Hier werde ich in Zukunft öfter mal einkehren. Die Qualität, das Ambiente, die Herzlichkeit und der Preis sind hier echt angenehm!!

This is a brew pub that makes good beer. There is usually a Helles, a Dunkles and one special on tap. The food is pub food. A pretty good burger, big salads, etc. There are many TV screens which will always have the Dortmund game on if they are playing.

If you want to have a relaxed family dinner or dinner with friends..or when I think about it just good time then this is the place to go...nice food, good service and brillliant sauces....on the minus side skip desserts...not the best here...Reasonable prices....nice place to hang out and chat...

Eigentlich wollte ich das Drüb ja niemals hier bei TA bewerten, aber da andere das Fass schon mal aufgemacht haben, schreibe ich ein paar Zeilen.Das Drüb ist ein hervorragender Gastropub, neben einem frischen Bier gibt es zahlreiche Gerichte die jeden Geschmack bedienen. Preis-Leistung ist top, Service klasse und aufmerksam und so Ende ich nach wenige Worten. Für meine Frau und mich unsere gastronomische Ruheinsel, wenn wir mal keine Lust haben selbst zu kochen oder neue kulinarische Welten zu entdecken. Sozusagen unser Ersatzesszimmer. Und wer keinen Hunger hat, kann hier einfach nur ein Bier genieÃen, oder auch zwei, oder drei ...
