Nice place for a break. You get good coffee variations and fine cakes and sweets. The shop has a good mixture of fine indrigents like vinegar, oil, marmelade, chocolade, liquer and so one... The personal is very nice ans helpful. The owner are there, too.

This is definitely one of the âmust doâsâ if you are in the Rheingau region. Eltville is already worth a visit but if you head down to the Rhein river promenade, you will see what I mean. The Eltviller Wine Tasting Stand is hosting different wine producers every week and you can enjoy a glass or bottle of excellent Rheingau wine (Riesling!!!). They have a nice seating area with several tables under the shade of the trees and you can watch the boats and ships passing by. Itâs not a restaurant, so they only offer very light snacks. But sometimes, a guy from a local bakery passes by and is selling his stuff to the visitors. One of the best places I know in the region!!!

Wir sind auf dem Rückweg von unserer Rheingau-Tour auf einen Absacker im âSchwabbelâ aufgeschlagen. Die Bedienung ist super freundlich und hat uns den Kirsch-Prosecco empfohlen. Eine sehr gute Empfehlung .... schmeckt super lecker und sorgt auch für die ârichtige Umdrehungâ ... also besser, wenn man nicht der Fahrer ist und chauffiert wird. Leider besteht mein Bekannten- und Freundeskreis ausschlieÃlich aus Leuten, die gerne mal ein Gläschen oder auch zwei oder drei trinken .... (*Säufer wollte ich nicht schreiben, trifft aber den Nagel auf den Kopf)einstimmige Entscheidung aller:sehr empfehlenswert
