Pretenzioso, squallido, sedie così scomode che nemmeno in sala d'aspetto di una stazione di periferia, qualche poltroncina, relativamente comoda, grondava acqua, umidità elevatissima, da tutte le parti, e nessuno che si attivasse per aciugarle, una cameriera fuori di testa, maleducata e assolutamente non in grado di fare il suo lavoro, prezzi stellari, attese quasi nella media. Scegliete qualcos'altro, l'offerta è ampia. Locali del genere non dovrebbero esistere.

Buona scelta per chi è in cerca di unâalternativa estiva alle âsoliteâ serate al ristorante. Eravamo alla ricerca di un buon pub e ci siamo imbattuti quasi per caso ne La tana del luppolo, il locale in estate si sviluppa quasi esclusivamente allâesterno, con i tavolini disposti lungo la stradina di accesso a piazza Aldo Moro. Il menu prevede antipasti piuttosto scontati (âsolitiâ frittini e taglieri vari), più interessanti i panini proposti sia in versione âbunâ che in versione âpucciaâ (consigliato). Qualità buona, piccola pecca nel servizio (panini arrivati mentre ancora mangiavamo lâantipasto). Birre molto buone (a chi piace, consiglio la IPA veramente eccezionale), prezzi non elevati.

They do pasta, pizza, panini, burgers, steaks, cocktails, beers, salads, chips; you name it. Mostly, they do pleasing people on a budget and on a grand scale. This is certainly the busiest restaurant in Galatina, and one of the largest, and one of the cheapest. The house wine is 5.50 Euros a bottle; the average pizza is around 6 Euros, the burgers between 4 and 10, the latter for a wagyu beef number. The ambience is youthful and dynamic, the service presto vivace. This is where Galatina's youngsters, families and economy-minded visitors come to dine and, beyond that, to party and to enjoy themselves and each other. The food's not that great, but certainly o.k. the atmosphere is vibrant. It's a great catch-all concept and it offers super value for money. If it's not already a chain or a national franchise, it will be soon.

I had another great night in L'Allegra Scottona, watching the Manchester Derby live on TV and enjoying the absolutely delicious food and the fine draught beer. It really is a pleasant place to spend an evening and is friendly with a really positive buzz about it!

Nice to spend time here, several drinks available and you can eat something too. It looks like a pub with wooden furniture and everything. An outdoor terrace is accessible during summer.
