A fair sized establishment with pool tables and dark, dated decor. We didn't stay, just spoke to the bartender who was quite nice and noticing our hesitation, promptly recommended Gibson & Co to us. Very helpful of her as Gibson's was more our speed. I'm sure if you wanted to go play pool and just chill it would be an ok spot though. And the staff did seem nice. It was handicapped accessible.

The good- great location- friendly staff- people stopping by for drinks appeared to be having a good time; live entertainment Needs some improvement- only the simple food was made well. Steak over cooked, vegetable medley was disappointing - old carrot sticks and wilted broccoli; chicken parm really quite industrial. Pizza and chicken souvlaki seemed better and I suspect the menu is just too ambitiousBottom line: might be a good place for a drink or some bar food. Don’t count on the large variety in the menu to be an indicator of what they can prepare well.

Asian inspired snacks and well-crafted cocktails in the heart of downtown Collingwood

We have been waiting for this place to open all summer and we were not disappointed. Delicious food. Great cocktails. Fantastic service. It was their first Friday night service and you couldn't tell. They handled the busy crowd like pros. Well organized and efficient. The menu is simple but perfect. We sampled five excellent dishes and were more than satisfied. This place fills a food niche missing in Collingwood's varied food scene. We will definitely be back soon.

Beaver and Bulldog Sports Pub and Wingery

This place continues to deliver after many years. Specials change daily, and the stalwarts on the menu are good value. The wings are easily the very best in the area. Attended last week for lunch with a friend. He had egg salad and soup and I had a nice curry. Service is good, friendly and professional. Could be a little faster coming out of the kitchen, but this doesn’t detract too seriously from the overall rating.

We found ourselves in Collingwood last Saturday as we were out enjoying the Fall colours. Of course we had to stop in at our favourite culinary experience in this area Northwinds. I say culinary experience because this is exactly what it is. I had the Waygu Cheeseburger and it was absolutely fabulous. Tender and delicious with juice running down your hands as you bite into this fantastic burger. It's extremely tasty! The extensive array of fresh brewed beers is mindblowing.
