Samen met een vriendin hier hapje gegeten en heerlijke wijntjes gedronken. Echt super relax zitten in het met smaak en stijlvol ingerichte wijnbarretje. Lekkere kleine kaart en de gastheer had verstand van zaken. wij hebben een hele leuke avond gehad en het is echt een aanwinst voor Zutphen.

Location is superb in a quiet garden courtyard. Good weather that day certainly helped but I can see how I can enjoy the place even on a gloomy day. My friend and I both had the croquette on bread, which was very nice. The selection was not huge but adequate. Service was good. We felt welcomed and our orders were taken promptly with patience to explain the Dutch menu, and the food was served without too much of a wait. Voor het eerst dit restaurant bezocht. 3-gangen menu. Het duurde erg lang voor we enige aandacht van de bediening kregen. De bediening was ook onzeker. Moesten veel navragen. Voorgerecht vitello tonnato mag hier niet zo heten. Gewone mayonaise i.p.v. tonijnmayonaise. Onder de fricandeau veel te natte sla. Ook de kloddertjes mayonaise op de salades zouden beter vervangen kunnen worden door een lekkere dressing. Gevulde champignons, de zalm met (hulde) verse warme groenten, de masterburger waren erg lekker.

Nice place to go with friends for a nice pint and english pub dishes. The fish and chips were great and the pint of Guinness made it even better.Don't expect a normal restaurant but try to see is as a pub. Great place to fo with friends to drinks some pints and have some food as well.

Following a long day getting to Zutphen and arriving at 21-20 we arrived at this place at 21-20. The waiter was very courteous but his incredulity at us wanting to eat at this time, complete with looking at his watch, was really too much. We got served with an excellent burger, but felt that we had crossed the border of acceptability. The place was empty except a rowdy group seated nearby. We completed our meal by the official 22-00 closing time of the kitchen, but what followed will no doubt shock many readers. No cards are accepted, not even debit or charge cards. I would love to be more kind, but why in the 21c should we as guests in this fine town be subject to such things?

Vanuit Arnhem fietsen we elke vrijdag 70-90 km. Je moet ergens koffie drinken. Bronkhorst is prachtig , maar hier op de dijk prima koffie en uitzicht. Er is een gallerie bij; internationaal zei de uitbaatster.Ik vond het matig, ik zou zeggen verkoop lokale kunstenaars uit Doesburg etc.Verwacht geen culinaire top , maar goede koffie en gebak.Ze leven van de fietsers.
