Het terras is voorzien van comfortabel meubilair. Het broodje Kofte was lekker maar de bittergarnituur smaakte nergens naar. Standaard hapjes zonder smaak. De bereiding/bediening nam veel tijd in beslag. Tafel werd niet schoongemaakt bij aankomst (terwijl die net gebruikt was door een ander) en bij het eten werden geen servetten gegeven.

We stayed in Zutphen for a weekend and went here for dinner on Saturday. Great atmosphere, really good food and nice wines at a reasonable price. Worth the visit fir sure.

After a nice bicycle ride we sat down at the terrace of La Villa and firstly ordered a whitebeer. Since it was just around 4:00 PM the staff was still sitting on the terrace and we came to talk with one of the cooks. About two years ago ,at the start of the Giro in apeldoorn, there was a competition to create a special pizza for the tour. The cooks of La Villa created several pizza's for the comepition, but became second because their pizza's had nothing to do with the Giro. the number one, which pizza's never were eaten, just created a bicycle on the pizza with asparagus. curious after the story we ordered Turkish bread with garlic butter and hot wings as a starter. Both starters were great. As main meal we ordered a Pzza Tonno and a pizza Semsek.Both tasted delicious. The bottom stayed crispy 'till the last bite.The nice surprise came when we learned that the restaurant serves all their pizza's on the Monday and The Tuesday for ⬠6.00 each.Certainly a restaurant to visit again.

We made our reservation online and on arrival we asked to be seated in the cellar which was accomodated. Much nicer there, our waitress greeted us, we shared the antipasta starter which was sufficient for two sharing , we both opted for the mixed pasta, my wife had advised of a peanut alergy so one of the pastas apparently contained walnuts so in an abundance of caution this pasta was replaced with one that did not have any nuts, a nice touch. Of the pastas the salmon lasagna was the hands down winner, did not enjoy the canneloni which seemed not overly fresh nor was the pasta house made. The house wine was ok but at 19 Euro overpriced. The surroundings were wonderful, we would go again. The mixed platters for mains looked good and the antipasta platter would make a great lunch for two.

We arrived on a damp Wednesday for lunch. Only one other table was taken. So very quiet. The waiter was great and made some of the atmosphere. Enjoyed a simple Lasagne and Omelete. Good food and good wine. Well priced. Lovely venue and old building.
