A little bit out of town (10 mins walk from Main Street) and in an elevated position above town. Very good quality pizzas, pasta salads etc as well as more traditional meat and fish dishes. Large dining area and a Stuberl too. Very good value for money and quality good.

All staff were friendly and the food was good (we both had pizzas). Menu available in english. Beware if you pay by cash and give as near to the total as you can as you'll be lucky to get any change unless you make a fuss. Hence the 'average' rating. We were really disappointed by this obviously well-practised behaviour. We would gladly have left a tip but not the 25% that was taken by not giving us change.

We came at 22:00 after looking for a restaurant. The place wasn't crowded and the warm welcome by the owner was just the beginning of a lovely and tasteful dinner. The atmosphere and the food were great and so was the price. Strongly recommend the dorfpizzeria.

Had a takeaway pizzas and a lasagne.......The Lasagne was nothing like a normal Lasagne, it was 2 lumps of stodge in a sweetish sauce. The Pizzas were also stodgy and a bit undercooked.Perhaps we caught them on a bad day, but whatever the problem was a waste of money.

This place saved the day. After arriving late at out hotel (9pm???) and being told no dinner available, it looked like we would go hungry. Then got directed here by a friendly local.Proper Austrian feel to it with half the customers in lederhosen (we think they were all the staff from local hotels and restaurants finishing work), great beer, and decent pizza to boot.They could offer to train the staff at the Wurzer hotel on customer relations. It aint science, but this place gets it right.

We tried to go there on Friday evening, but it was full... We made a reservation for Saturday and went there for pizza. It was delicious. The beer was served quickly and cooled nicely. The waitress was attractive and pleasant :) We enjoyed the stay in a nice restaurant. We left good tip :) Other food seemed delicious as well (from other tables), we can recommend it! And prices were OK :)

Etwas abseits vom Trubel in Schladming liegt dieses Lokal in Forstau. Bei den aktuellen sommerlichen Temperaturen konnte man drauÃen im Biergarten sitzen und die Ruhe genieÃen. Die Bedienung freundlich und schnell - die Speisen wirklich lecker und zu guten Preisen!
