Bitola (Macedonian: Битола [ˈbitɔɫa] ( listen) known also by several alternative names) is a city in the southwestern part of the Republic of Macedonia. It is located in the southern part of the Pelagonia valley, surrounded by the Baba, Nidže and Kajmakčalan mountain ranges, 14 kilometres (9 miles) north of the Medžitlija-Níki border crossing with Greece. The city stands at an important junction connecting the south of the Adriatic Sea region with the Aegean Sea and Central Europe, and is an administrative, cultural, industrial, commercial, and educational centre. It has been known since the Ottoman period as "The City of The Consuls", since many European countries had consulates in Bitola.

I've visited this restaurant few times. During the summer it has usually plenty of costumers and it's hard to find a table. The food was good. Unfortunately, the last time I wanted to go there, it was closed and as I was told it will remain closed.

The restaurant itself is very nicely presented with smart interior (good toilets) and a decent arrangement of outdoor tables. Itâs on Shirok Sokak, Bitolaâs main drag, so great for people watching. Staff were pleasant and the menu had English translations but the food could only be described as average. We shared a Greek salad (OKj some baked cheese with furnarinki (really tasty) and a chicken pastrmajilja (totally bland). Wine is available by the glass at 70 denar which was good.

If you are in Bitola, you should visit Scandal for a dinner. This place has exceptional atmosphere, waiters dressed cute like in sixties, music is perfect. Service is quite good, asking for your opinion of the food (rarely happen in Macedonia).I tried Scandal burger and the burger meat was nice done (medium - not well as it is usual for Macedonia) with good sides on dishes. Bun was little hard, they should use grill for softening up.Ketchup and mayonnaise were not needed as a side in the dish. French fries - perfect. My wife had a cream-cheese cake, with strawberry jelly topping, and it was very good.Next time - pasta - they look awesome and they have a pesto ... so :

It was fantastic gastronomic experience in Bitola.For 5 Euro we got two huge salads (shopska salad), bottle of water and a portion of their own bread with melted cheese, and I can recommend everything, but the cheese is mindblowing. They mix white cheese with tomato sauce and cheese and let it melt in an oven. For cheese lovers itâs a great treat.Service was not very friendly.Place is very atmospheric, they have two floors and couple of tables outside.Menu is not too big, but various and prices are very low.I highly recommend it while in Bitola.

I have visited GT lounge bar lot of times with family and friends.First location is great in the center of Sirok Sokak.It's not loud so you can have meal and great talk with person you are with.Food?! It's great, and tasty. Pasta, meat salad. you have meal for every type you like.Personal is very polite also and kind.They made great desert and coffee. If you are in Bitola you must visit this placeI'm glad that everything was great. Thank you very much Tanja. This means a lot to us.

We visited Kus-Kus after a friend visiting the city recommended to us. Large variety on menu and I know we will be visiting again. I had the spaghetti carbonara which was surprisingly good. Served with smoked bacon! Family had pizza, good portion sizes, thin crust and tasty. Was a little oily however wasnât too bad. Must say it was one of the best pizzas in Bitola. We sat inside and it was well presented and clean. Decor was updated and comfortable.Service was great. Attentive and friendly. Overall I was impressed. Prices was reasonable. If you are visit Bitola, this is once place I would recommend!
