We went to this restaurant due to good TA reviews and we were not disappointed, by far! The location is cozy, clean and tastefully decorated. The service is very professional, attentive. The quality and execution of the food is definitely worth the five stars. The mixed antipasti gave a nice insight into the kitchen's capabilities, excellent vitello tonnato, amazing beef tartare with rocket salad and parmesan, amazingly good pickled eggplant, etc. The noodles were freshly made, the olive oil of good quality and truffles freshly grated by the waiter. The pizza was also among the best i had, however i was more enchanted by the other dishes. Definitely will go back!

Das Piazza Italia in Schweitenkirchen liegt etwas versteckt in der Ortsmitte hinter der Raiffeisenbank und hatte mehrere Pächterwechsel in der jüngeren Vergangenheit, was wie immer nie förderlich für dem Ruf eines Lokals ist. Die neue Betreiber sind bemüht aber meiner Einschätzung nach recht konzeptlos und schludrig. Die Einrichtung ist wie in den letzten 20 Jahren typisch italienisch ohne Liebe fürs Detail oder stilistischer Finesse. Der Service ist leider Tagesform - mal auf Zack mal dauert alles gefühlte Jahre und ich musste schon mehrmals dreimal bitten um zu bezahlen. Nett sind sie aber alle immer was positiv zu bewerten ist.Zur BegrüÃung erhält man manchmal sogar ein Gläschen Prosecco was schon mal ein guter Anfang ist für einen Gastro-Rookie aber halt eben nur manchmal. Die Vorspeisen schwanken zwischen wirklich gut (gemischte Vorspeisen) bis todesfad ( bisher alle Suppen). Zu empfehlen sind mittlerweile die Pizzen welche wirklich zu den besseren 10 % im Landkreis Pfaffenhofen gehören. Nudel-Gerichte sind häufig leider enttäuschend da alles âMama-macht-Pasta-heute-selberâ schmeckt und keinen Restaurantbesuch rechtfertigen. Die Tagesgerichte sind oft an die Masseria in Ilmmünster oder Da Flavio in Pfaffenhofen angelehnt aber erreichten bisher noch nie deren Qualität. Fazit: Zum Pizzaessen top, wenn der Service nen guten Tag hat

The best Italian restaurant in Freising! Totally pleasant location. Pretty old building in the Neustift area of Freising. A short walk from the old cloister (which now house the county offices) and St. Peter & Paul's church. The interior of the restaurant has lots of wood and is nice and cozy in cool weather. Out front, there's a shady terrace for warm evenings. Consistently friendly service. Delicious hand made pizza and pasta. Good quality, fresh ingredients. Always a pleasure to eat there. Reasonable prices, too!
