We had reservations for the 1:30 brewery tour - so decided to come early and enjoy lunch here first. Opted for the self serve beer/food and really enjoyed what we ordered. Beers were about 3.80 Euro each for a 1/2 liter and two plates of food was a total of 15 Euro.Very pleasant beer garden

The 'kleine Salat' was as always in Germany a large salad and excellent. The main pork dish was too dry. Staff very pleasant.

Sensationell ist das Essen hier. Es gibt eine täglich wechselnde Karte, alles frisch gemacht und qualitativ auf höchstem Niveau. Man sollte unbedingt reservieren, es ist gut besucht. Ein Tipp, es ist auch mittags geöffnet. Absolut empfehlenswert

viel Service den man gar nicht erwartet. So ist der Eingang Rollstuhlgerecht aber Toiletten im Keller. Es gibt eine Wirtsstube und einen vergröÃer baren Nebenraum für ca.100 Personen.Personal zum Bestellen war immer gleich zur Stelle auch das Abkassieren ging zügig. Das angeschlossen Ãbernachtungshaus bietet ca 20 Zimmer und waren Standesgemäà und sehr sauber auch die Betten passten.Für gröÃere Versammlungen, Tagungen und Feiern ideal. Auch ein Parkplatz auf den Hof.

We visited on a Sunday night with a party of four and were seated promptly and with a smile. The restaurant's main dining room is gorgeous, with traditional old Bavarian detail galore. Since it was full, we were moved to another cozy dining room which did not have that much Bavarian ambiance as the first one but was still very nice.For starters, our server put a small bowl with seasoned lard and cream cheese on the table, together with rustic bread. Both were home-made and tasted great.For a main course, we had a knuckle of pork as well as pork roast. Both were tender, so flavorful, and had a perfect crust - not soggy but also not too hard to eat. Both entrees also came with a very tasty and flavorful dark gravy. A true highlight were the potato dumplings accompanying the roast - finally dumplings that were not bland or dry, just to die for.When we inquired about the lard, we were told that we could buy it directly from them, which we did right away - it was that good. For two 200 g tubs (a total of roughly 14 oz.) we paid only 2.30 Euros. We actually did a double-take at that price and couldn't believe it.This was one of those rare nights where everything came together perfectly: Good company, beautiful restaurant and absolutely great food and service. While Kirchdorf is a bit out of the way and off the beaten path, it is well worth a small detour from the nearby Autobahn. Recommend 100 %.

We are two couples visiting for a fresh lunch, and have not being disappointed. It was fresh and healthy, even for our vegetarian the selection was immense. We has Schnitzel and dessert and did enjoy the full selection of our order. Service was normal friendly, not over average but professional. Prices are a bit higher but definitely worth while and well balanced. This is not fast food, but healthy bio food freshly prepared.

I have eaten here several times on my way to/from ski/summer vacation and the food is always great. The staff is always in a great mood and you feel very welcome. Beautiful dining room. wiener schinitzel, schnitzel cordon blu, and filtesteak with mushrooms were delicious. The scnitzel and roast potatoes filled the plate. Large salad and vegetables were a perfect complement. You won't leave hungry. Best meal we had on our trip to Germany. And very friendly and efficient service.
