Triggered by a Friburger friend we booked a table in this charming and lovely restaurant located in an strategic place.Although its style, food and wines carte tend to be among the best Tuscan or Riojan restaurants, unfriendly waiters arrogance makes such target unfeasible.

What a great find. Out if town but easily accessible with a short walk from the josephkirch stop on the number 3 an 5 tram lines. Wonderful selection of tapas, better than we've had in many Restaurants in Spain! Service was friendly and the waitress spoke some English too. Loved it.

We came after having read about the place on tripadvisor. The place is located just out of the altstadt with a small cozy garden. unfortunately the food was pretty average. The bruschetta were nothing but dry bread with sliced and cut tomatoes. My wifes salad was boring. My side salad was just a mix of everyday supermarket vegetables in a random mix. The pizzas were ok but nothing more, so all in all 2½ stars. There are many better places in town.

We came for dinner last week.They have menus only in German and the waitress spoke broken English. I decided to go on the safe side so we ordered only basik Italian food. the pizza was ok but all other plates were sub-par by far.The worst was the spagety alio olio whice was served with tomato sauce???By the end of the day this id a pizzeria and not one of the best in town.Don't go if you don't speak German and don't order padta.

This property is actually on twice and I have just submitted a review under Pizzeria Ristorante Alter Mohreneck. (It is the same address but should read Kirchstrasse). We visited on a warm summers evening and after a quick stroll around the village opted for here. When you sit outside you look straight down the hill into the village. Great location for people watching. Pizzas and drinks were ordered. Friendly waiter (owner?) although no English spoken we got by. Despite a very loud argument coming from the waiter and the unseen chef the food arrived and was delicious. Other tables meals also looked amazing. Will we go back? Yes if in the area again. Good food and very good prices.

Just had pizzas for lunch, so it is difficult to assess the real value of this restaurant, however these were perfectly decent, average size, with quite a good dough and tasty toppings. Nothing stellar but would easily deserve to be ranked in the "quite good" pizzerias. Service efficient. Price very reasonable.

We stumbled upon this place by accident and were very delighted.....it is a definite hidden gem!The staff was friendly and helpful as we were not very familiar with this type of cuisine (Turkish I think)....but it looked and smelled so good that we decided to give it a try.We ordered 2 chicken donairs to go (there are also a few tables/wall-mounted tables inside if you prefer to eat in) which we thoroughly enjoyed when we got back to our B&B.We highly recommend this place!

Usually, I don't eat steak when visiting Germany but this was - hands down - one of the best meals I had: Rumpsteak w/ Kraeuterbutter and Risotto. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender texture and perfect temperature (medium rare), paired w/ a delicious risotto and side salad. Location is rather "outside" of the center and the restaurant - while offering lots of space - feels modern but rather cold. Great outdoor seating in summer and delicous food at affordable prices.
