The view from this restaurant is superb! A little bit apart from downtown, the calm atmosphere there remind us of the traditional Kanazawa. The dishs are ausentic kanazawa. Our old private house cafe has built in 1913. The lunch menu contains plenty of vegetables. The dinner menu fits to beer and wine. Please enjoy a meal and relax slowly on a tatami.

The restaurant is located in a lovely old town house building. Style is Japanese fusion with western influences. The main dining area features low tables and you sit on cushions although there are a few seats around the bar. Wonderful laid back atmosphere with low pleasant background music playing. The menu is quite eclectic, we opted for a salmon and dill salad, a smoked salmon, tomato and avocado tartare, a lasagne and three cheese gratin with ratatouille and a bottle of house red all beautifully prepared and presented. Service is impeccable and not at all expensive. It was our last night in Kanazawa and we were moving on otherwise would have no hesitation about dining here again.
