Stayed at JW Marriott Dondaemun Square for 10 days. Every morning we enjoyed buffet breakfast at Tavolo restaurant offering a vast Korean, European, Asian, and American culinary delites. Even though a self service buffet, the restaurant staff saw to our every needs and comfort.One standout crew member, is Sophia. She is exceptional in hospitality. Every morning greeted us with her warm smile and greeting. When Sophia noted that we had a cough, she brought over a pot of hot water served with honey and lemon slices. Cough was gone by and of day. The food and beverage manager, Para Kim, is also a notable standout for providing excellent service.All professional front desk staff very helpful with information on hotel, getting around in the city, and interesting places to visit.JW Marriott made us feel like the Dondaemun Square address is our home away from home.Hello, thank you very much for visiting Tavolo 24 and making a great review on the TripAdvisor. Because you talked about the service of Sophia, which is a Tavolo 24 employee, it was an opportunity for the employees to think about the service mind once again. Pros (1) Dinner time - Lobsters (small size) small abalone/ Crab dishes etc good variety of dishes (2) Kind staff/ good staff training (3) Some juice - freshly squeezed (eg. Grapefruit) (4) This buffet restaurant is located at the Lobby level of Le Merdien Hotel is close to Shinnonhyeon Station (Line 9 subway) 5 mins on foot. (5) High ceiling 4 metres or more. Cons (1) Not low - price Breakfast KRW 46,000 Lunch KRW 86,000 Dinner KRW 108,000 (a half bottle red/ white wine) per person included. (2) 3 hours free parking (4) fresh fruit/ veges juice - some of them too sweet

praises only to the food served at this restaurant. tasted "fine" and "freshest" even we ordered the value sets in the menu. views up there were good and service of the night was the very best. liked everything about this restaurant choice though it wasn't a planned visit.
