Very Simple and Tasty Japanese food. The Restaurant is situated in a very accessible area with car parking. Food is amazing.

Our hotel made a reservation for 7pm. When we arrived early and realized that hotel made a booking for only 2 instead of 4, the restaurant graciously arrange for us a table for 4. The food was very fresh and taste was excellent, especially the broiled fish and the seafood shashimi. The food arrived freshly cooked and hot. Highly recommend this place if you are in this area.

This little restaurant served yummy udon. They make the udon in the restaurant itself. We had chicken hot udonA Japanese couple came after us and what they ordered looked way more sophisticated than ours ;) language barrier an issue in little town where there was no English menu and the staff didn't speak English ..Nonetheless soup and udon was really pleasant

When hiking in the mountains the small restaurants at either end of the Asahidake ropeway serve some pretty ok snack meals. As European it was just great to have a simple, surprisingly well tasting fried chicken meal with fried potatoes for 700 yen as a break from the classic Japanese meals

Located accross tourist info center (and mont-bell store!). My DH ordered soba, which he said is good. I ordered chirashi, which was overpowered / drenched with sauce (teriyaki like). It was full when we stopped by, perhaps because most restaurants are closed on Wednesday.
