If you are looking to cook Italian meals and want authentic ingredients, then this is your place in the Baldham area. Very friendly owners & staff, all from Italy. Great selection of cheeses and meats. Quick and delicious caffe style meals, specials everyday. Best espresso around. All in all, a great little place to pick up a quick meal or snack and to buy the real deal pastas, wines, Grappa, etc for the meal at home.

I have choosen this restaurant after checking the rates on tripadvisor and I could only confirm the great and tasteful Tagliolini with truffle and a good wine option. Easy accomodation if you are travelling through Munich.

Wir waren am frühen Abend da und konnten bei schönstem Wetter drauÃen sitzen. Da die Tische "fest" installiert sind, wird es mit 8 Personen schon recht eng am Tisch und zum Essen wird es etwas unbequem. Aber das Essen und der sehr freundliche Service macht dies wett. Die Vorspeisen sind tatsächlich etwas kleiner, so dass bei gröÃerem Hunger durchaus noch ein Hauptgericht (die am Nebentisch servierte Pizza sah sehr gut aus!) nachfolgend kann. Achtung: es ist nur Barzahlung möglich - ggf. kann jedoch bei zwei Banken direkt noch Geld abgehoben werden. Alles in allem ein schöner Abend mit guten, schmackhaften Essen, leckeren Getränken und nettem Service!

Wir sind immer wieder gerne im Pomodoro.Vorzügliches Essen,netter Service und moderate Preise.Immer wieder aufs neue gibt es auch Saisonale Gerichte und für die Muscheln würde ich Meilenweit gehen.Meine Frau liebt die Salate und zu jedem Essen gibt es frisch gebackenes Brot.Für uns der beste Italiener weit und breit.

The food was delicious. As a starter we ordered a bruschetta, as main courses we ordered pasta and for dessert fresh strawberries with mascarpone cream. We closed a Friday with perfect dinner.By the way, we were the last customers to arrive and no one was rushing us, we had enough time to taste this delicious dinner.

We were invited and i must say that if you are not from the area you are missing a deliciously cooked italian dinner. The restaurant is at the end of the main street in vaterstetten and about 2 blocks away from the train station. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was full of guests and we came in without a reservation but they still found a table for us. Not only delicious but the price is good too.

creative italian food, like quail with lentil, rabbit stuffed with olives and artichoke etc. Weekly changing menu. Also very good lunch offer, like a three-course menu with oyster mushroom with gorgonzola sauce, the above-named rabbit and a panna cotta for ca. ⬠17.-Good assorted wine list, but even the "simple" house-wine is worth to try

The italian restaurant even though it was a monday....lunchtime was full. Good sign! We made reservations. Definately have too. I discovered this restaurant a few years ago on the way to my daughters house. We did eat there one evening and even then...yyyuummyy! I wasn't a trip advisor membr then.The pizzas, lasagne...sizzling hot! Fresh! Served right away after it comes out of the oven. The cheese...oh man. You just want to pick it out and just eat it! Cheesy hot. The very, very friendly waiters and waitresses. Look at the cheese in the picture. Also the lasagne was made with like a tomatoe-cream sauce. Hmm...i hope the sauce description is sort of right . Delicious!!!The restaurant is on a not so popular rode. My opinion it is inbetween the two villages Weissenfeld and Parsdorf. In the internet it says Vaterstetten is the village but that village is about 5 car minutes away. The restaurant is on a road leading to the Parsdorf industrial area where Segmüller furniture store is. Hheeelllloooo....don't have to go as far as Italy to eat GOOD italian food!

In place of the restaurant 'Vecchi Sapori', since a few months there is ' Modesto '.The management and the interior of the room has been changed a little bit.The food quality is really high, with a remarkable pizza (I'm Italian ...).The atmosphere and is relaxed and warm, the waiters are courteous.Outside there is a convenient parking, with spaces reserved for guests of the restaurant.I've noticed that other restaurants offer - for the little guest - papers and pencils to spend time.Unfortunately this is not happened. But we've noticed, outside in the garden, a swing.

If you ever find yourself in Vaterstetten (not that you would because it's definitely out of the way) and are looking for a good meal, this is the place for you. Authentic Italian including great appetizers, mains and desserts, this restaurant does a wonderful job of preparing and serving delicious food. Throw in a great wine list and now you have a definite reason to visit this part of Munich.
