Specially recommended for great spare ribs. The owners made great choices the decoration, the furniture the menu. A place to feel comfortable.Pricing is in line with a restaurant of its class in that area.My daughter ordered a tap water, minus points for the frown and serving it in a tiny wine glass.

Suggested by a friend of mine who lives nearby, this warm and cozy family restaurant dates back more than a century ago. Owned by the same family ever since its opening, you can find local beers, friendly service, fine quality Bavarian food at reasonable price. Nice decor and parking available.

It is an excellent Greek restaurant with great service and delicious food. The appetizer plate was super, the gyros was very tasty. Unfortunately, I forgot to highlight, that I cannot handle onions and it was covered. The staff is helpful and adjusted to the rhythm of our team. They had a great word to everyone. I can highly recommend.

The italian restaurant even though it was a monday....lunchtime was full. Good sign! We made reservations. Definately have too. I discovered this restaurant a few years ago on the way to my daughters house. We did eat there one evening and even then...yyyuummyy! I wasn't a trip advisor membr then.The pizzas, lasagne...sizzling hot! Fresh! Served right away after it comes out of the oven. The cheese...oh man. You just want to pick it out and just eat it! Cheesy hot. The very, very friendly waiters and waitresses. Look at the cheese in the picture. Also the lasagne was made with like a tomatoe-cream sauce. Hmm...i hope the sauce description is sort of right . Delicious!!!The restaurant is on a not so popular rode. My opinion it is inbetween the two villages Weissenfeld and Parsdorf. In the internet it says Vaterstetten is the village but that village is about 5 car minutes away. The restaurant is on a road leading to the Parsdorf industrial area where Segmüller furniture store is. Hheeelllloooo....don't have to go as far as Italy to eat GOOD italian food!

This restaurant has a good reasonably priced menu. Our meals were well cooked, no delays and served by helpful friendly staff. Good wine and beer from a local brewery. Also, this restaurant was being used by the locals, always a good sign.Thank you very much for your review.We are looking forward to welcome you again

We had a great evening st Thalassa. The owner personally welcomed us with two glasses of ouzo before we struggled to finally choose several of the many great options on the menu. The mixed spit of grilled meats was excellent as was the pitta grilled with garlic. The moussaka tasted as great as it looked. After dessert, the owner came by again with a glass of warm metaxa. While not a cognac fan, this was surprisingly smooth and a nice ending to the night. Only fault keeping this from a 5 star review is a few hiccups from not writing down all of our order. But the food when finally served as ordered was fantastic and the service and atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend

Traditional bavarian food with very good quality. The service was exceptional kind. You can sit in- and out-side. The place is a bit difficult to find and not directly accessible from the national Road 304.

This time I had it all, started with a starter, salmon wraps, delicious, main course with pork and beef filet, especially the beef filet was very soft and delicate and finished off with a dessert. When you are visiting Germany, you need to taste the German beer, I favor German beer as brewed by the "Reinheitsgebot", no additional ingredients and neither any chemical additives. However I favor my wife even more dearly, so I need to force myself to stay off the beer as I do not want to gain weight. However, you need to taste the Apfelstrudel, real German pastry, and their Apfelstrudel is really very tasteful. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to any traveller for their healthy and nutritious German cuisine. In the menu they provide an overview of the local shops, farmers from which they obtain their products and ingredients they serve on your table. They really deserve the number ONE restaurant here in Vaterstatten.

If you ever find yourself in Vaterstetten (not that you would because it's definitely out of the way) and are looking for a good meal, this is the place for you. Authentic Italian including great appetizers, mains and desserts, this restaurant does a wonderful job of preparing and serving delicious food. Throw in a great wine list and now you have a definite reason to visit this part of Munich.

We tried this restaurant last summer and was very disappointed. We ate in the beergarden. Maybe it's a different cook. The "würstsalat" (sausage salad) tasted like nothing. We decided to give it a second try. The restaurant was full. The WINTER TUNA SALAD was delicious! The picture is worth a thousand words. And it comes with toasty garlic bread too. The bread dumpling was served cute in a little green pot. It was also very good. We will be back!
