the best of Italian cuisine in the heart of the city. amazing food, amazing service and the smile on the face of the staff adds pleasure to the food. we were greeted by the staff as if we were regular customers to them , as if we were part of their family. highly recommended

The best minestrone ever, although quite big for an appetizer. The seafood pasta was top level. Spaghetti, âal denteâ and the fruiti di mare appeared fresh. The spaghetti is âGermanâ thick but this is everywhere in in this country. These people know what they are doing.Also, in Germany they think EC and Meastro is the same, which is true if you are German. So if youâre foreign, bring cash since your meastro debit card will not work. Donât worry, there is an atm around the corner.

I tried something new here: Pizza.It was neither American nor Italian style. The think, fluffy rim resembled an American pizza; the thin, tasty middle resembled an Italian pizza, except that it was soft and easy to cut rather than crisp. Some would maybe call that indeterminate style a defect, but i will call it an original style because it was as delicious as unusual. The most important strength was the quality and abundance of toppings. I had various vegetables, but they also serve pizza with freshly prepared Döner meat.So if you opt for pizza here, you should probably go for one that includes various toppings and postpone getting a pizza like "Margherita" or "Quattro Formaggi" until you get to a real Italian restaurant.

One of those "around-the-corner" Italian restaurants where I go often for lunch with clients or colleagues. The food is very good and rather inexpensive. They usually offer three different business lunch dishes every day. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I have never been disappointed and can highly recommend it.

Zum Lamm is a small German Italian Restaurant in a small town in Baden-Wuerttemberg/Germany. Went with 2 friends there and we all had very delicious homemade pasta with a side salad. Really liked the cosy and calm atmosphere. Can highly recommend it!

Vom Vorspeisenteller bei meinem Lieblingsgriechen in Walzbachtal verwöhnt, hab ich heute den Vorspeisenteller beim Italiener probiert..... welch Enttäuschung: kennt der Italiener denn nur Salami und Tomaten? Der Teller war langweilig, eintönig und es wurde auch kein Brot dazu geboten. Ich denke, Italien könnte mehr! Schade!

I went here with a party of five and we enjoyed the reserved yet attentive hospitality, the quiet atmosphere and of course the beautiful and tasty food. The waiter friendly guides the guests through their selection of drinks and food.Around 10 tables occupy the room and there is room anough to walk between them withouth disturbing other guests. Suffice to say that conversations from nearby tables remain private. The food is of a rare quality. The cooking is obviously done with heart and soul, ie. not your regular professional restaurant type of preparation and this gives a very authentic, warming and delicious taste. The menu has a choice of meat, fish and pasta dishes.Servings are on ceramic colored plates or bowls. (I think the food at SAF deserves other i.e. less opresssive kitchenware as well as non paper napkins). I will not get into detail of our meals, go find out yourself, but just highlight the beautiful arancini arranged on a plate with freshly(!) grated parmesan. Succulent, not fat, echnically perfect. Although they rested too long after preparation and had cooled down too much. I suspect it was very busy in the kitchen. The wine list is adequate but nothing fancy. Italian wines are an art in itself and SAF made a fine selection offered for very reasonable prices. I can only heartily recommend the place.

Since our first visit in August we've quickly become regulars! Lovely verandah in summer with a view of the Turmberg. Great Pizza for eat in or take out and the pasta, meat and seafood dishes can be recommended too. Friendly efficient team of staff. Will keep on going :)
