Schönes für Stadtnähe relativ ruhig gelegenes Restaurant mit originalem Biergarten. Griechische Küche ist in Ordnung, Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist normal. Service und Hygiene, alles im normalen Bereich!

Selling their own beer and and regular regional food. The menu for food isn't large. Has a pretty great beer garden out the back (but don't wander into the neighbouring restaurants area). Large capacity but doesn't feel large. Spread out a little.Good central location

Went here for drinks (they do have some food, also), and the location, staff, and drink selection were all fantastic - made the entire experience enjoyable. We found out later that the owners also owned the hotel we stayed at (Zum Erwin), so that explains some of it, as they are great hosts.Anyway, super location right in the middle of the historic are of Durlach, lots of beer options so you can spend some time, or many different visits, without worrying about the same thing each time.Really epitomizes everything you expect sitting outside in July in Germany having a beer. Prost!

The Hirsch in Remchingen is an old country inn with a spectacular "Fachwerkhaus" which is a jewel of this relatively unspectacular village. We went there the first time with a large group of friends last December and came back three time since. Every time we could chose between a good selection of fresh and seasonal dishes. The focus is on the regional cuisine (which is the best in Germany). A specific highlight arrives after the main course when the waiter comes with a selection of small, but incredibly good deserts. Even people who by default take only a cup of coffee to close their meal turn weak (and I swear that I have seen even someone who order spontaneously two deserts!). The wine cellar offers a good selection of red and white wines with a focus on SW Germany. The Gasthof has also a number of rooms on the first floor which makes it a perfect place for a stopover when crossing Southern Germany).

Cedric Schwitzer and his team treat you with creativity and freshness at its best in the restaurant. Whether "a la Carte", "Menu Surprise" or the five-course gala menu - finest cuisine for a fair price.
Waldbronn is small suburban village close to Karlsruhe, famous for their public bath and sauna, named Albtherme, and for elder people medical recovery.Recently there opened a small 4-Star Hotel with an excellent restaurant. No wonder: the Chef worked before in famous Baiersbronn's Restaurants. This is still insider knowledge, and so are most customers insiders, who already know, what jewel is there located with growing surprise!Coming to the food: Not yet a Michelin 3-Star-Restaurant but definitely above the level of all restaurants in this area! Just delicious food on high level. The service is also outstanding kind and professional. So I found a reason to stay in Waldbronn for dinner after swimming and not drive back immediately to Karlsruhe, to eat there somewhere!

Stone walls, nice decoration, a wide selection of beers and delicious Argentine steaks. Steaks are served raw on the hot stone and guests bake them by themselves as they like it. Wonderful experience!

This restaurant was recommended to a work colleague and me by our German host. It was within easy walking distance (10-15 minutes) of the Hotel zur Linde, where we were staying. Note that the restaurant is closed on Mondays. The restaurant is in an historic old building with wonderful wooden beams and pillars. It claims to have been a family run inn since 1558.The restaurant is entered through a lovely old courtyard, which would be a cool dark oasis on a hot summerâs day. On arriving, we encountered a coach party leaving the restaurant so we timed our entrance just right. We noticed that several tables were reserved so it is obviously a popular restaurant. We managed to find a table and our order was taken. During the evening we saw no sign of any male workers â all the cooking and serving seemed to be done by three ladies who could have been from one family as we thought we could discern facial similarities. We were served by a middle-aged lady who, at first, seemed rather brusque with little knowledge of English. Therefore I quickly got out my trusty German phrase book and dictionary and proceeded to translate the menu and what to say. Weâd been told the rump steak was excellent so we both chose that, ordering our steaks the way we liked best in our poorly pronounced German. However, we ensured our order was understood by pointing to the relevant words!Firstly, we had a salad dressed in an excellent vinaigrette. The rump steak came with fried onions and potatoes. It was extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. Very tender. It was washed down very well with a local red wine, full of fruit and with just enough body.We fancied a dessert and selected something we thought was black forest gateau. It was close but not quite gateau. On telling of our experience later, back in the UK, to a better German speaker it emerged that a better translation was black forest cup or goblet. Anyway, whatever it was was delicious. Lashings of cream covering a lot of black cherries and ice cream with copious quantities of liquor â seriously alcoholic! We were one of the last people to leave the restaurant and, we assume that by making the effort of trying to speak in German, were wished a very warm auf Wiedersehen by all the staff. The staff definitely had warmed to us during the evening. We staggered back to our hotel having enjoyed a wonderful last evening on our business trip.We both thoroughly recommend this restaurant, which also has a separate guesthouse with about 8 rooms. We will definitely be returning. The restaurant is a great alternative from those in Karslruhe itself. It is easy to get to this restaurant from Karlsruhe by tram (S5 line).

"Unlike in the tower Mountain" is one of the most beautiful places to geni the magnificent views of the city and our region ng - whether through the large picture windows of the newly designed interiors or open air from the spacious terrace. Enjoy with us
Wow! My mother treated us for a Boxing Day lunch in this place and what a fantastic experience it has been! On arrival we had a drink outside the restaurant in Karlsruhe's smallest Christmas market. For those who know the area, the Turmberg is just a nice place to enjoy a glass of Champagne with a view over the Rhine plain (The weather was excellent!). We then went inside the restaurant. We all ordered various tasting menus with accompanying wine flight. Unfortunately It is almost two months since we had this meal, therefore I cannot remember in detail what each one of us had. All I know that we all we in rapturous delight about the food we had. Even my mother who can be a bit difficult at times thoroughly enjoyed her meal. Everything was prepared to absolute perfection, a pleasure to look at and then eat. The wines, most of which were from the nearer German area (Baden, Pfalz, Wuerttemberg), went well with each dish and we were disappointed when it all ended! This is not a cheap lunch! But worth every pound (or Euro in this case) you spend! I want to go again!

Creative Mediterranean, high quality cuisine with a warm, relaxed and professional service.Gigantic wine list. Unique terrace. Historic building from the 18th century. Since 1997.
I ordered my favourite meal as it was on the menu and asked for a dry white wine from the region. Super food and drink. Casual but no compromises. I'd definitely return. The high star rating is because of mid price, good food, and good atmosphere.

Great place for a dinner, gourmet restaurant with a fine choice of dishes, all meat, fish and veggies. Fantastic wine selection. Gourmet set dinners with accompanying wines are brilliant and pretty costly, 200â¬+ per person but we felt it worth it. The restaurant belongs to the hotel and we also had breakfast there, one of the most delicious things we ever had. Recommend.
