The italian restaurant even though it was a monday....lunchtime was full. Good sign! We made reservations. Definately have too. I discovered this restaurant a few years ago on the way to my daughters house. We did eat there one evening and even then...yyyuummyy! I wasn't a trip advisor membr then.The pizzas, lasagne...sizzling hot! Fresh! Served right away after it comes out of the oven. The cheese...oh man. You just want to pick it out and just eat it! Cheesy hot. The very, very friendly waiters and waitresses. Look at the cheese in the picture. Also the lasagne was made with like a tomatoe-cream sauce. Hmm...i hope the sauce description is sort of right . Delicious!!!The restaurant is on a not so popular rode. My opinion it is inbetween the two villages Weissenfeld and Parsdorf. In the internet it says Vaterstetten is the village but that village is about 5 car minutes away. The restaurant is on a road leading to the Parsdorf industrial area where Segmüller furniture store is. Hheeelllloooo....don't have to go as far as Italy to eat GOOD italian food!

Nothing special. I took advantage of a lull in the rainy spells to eat al fresco, so I can't say much about the style and atmosphere. The card is limited, my pasta was slightly overcooked but not bad. The tiramisu was disappointing.

I went to the restaurant for dinner with some colleagues and although it was very nice weather, we chose to sit inside. The restaurant had both and a la carte menu and some specials on a board. The menu was available in English but we had to translate the menu on the board to our English speaking colleagues. No big deal.We ordered starters and mains and the portions were gigantic - Italian food in Bavarian portions. One of my colleagues had the largest bruschetta I ever saw - it was close to 1/2 m2. I had the tuna tartar for starters and was very tasty with steamed fresh asparagus and an avocado dressing. For mains I had a rabbit filet wrapped in panchetta with pasta and again it was very delicious and fresh. Service was excellent and it was obvious that this was a very popular place. Although the waiting staff was busy, we still had everything we needed. The only minus is the decor - seems like something from the 80's. But the food and service made up for that.A side note: Poing is close to Munich and is only half an hour by train from the city centre. It is affordable to stay in Poing and very close to this restaurant is a hotel called Poinger Hof which is affordable and 5 minutes away from the train station.

What a cool neighborhood restaurant this was.... lots of families, as well as friends all enjoying themselves in this restaurant. Aside from Pizza, they have a lot of roast options. Had the lamb shoulder, was ok; colleagues had slouvaki and they really enjoyed it. Service friendly.. food can take a while if it's crowded.

Not sure why, but the night we went, arrival of the adults' food was very slow and it took an hour, long after out kids' food arrived. The regulars we went with assured us this is not typical, however. Now for the good part: The host were very gracious and attentive and drinks arrived right away. I very much recommend sitting in the outdoor patio if whether permits and you can overlook the smokers (something we are no longer used to in the USA). The menu is huge and they have many Italian specialities you don't see everywhere, particularly at your garden variety Italian place back home. Once it arrived, it was hot and delicious with generous portions. Hopefully we can go back one day to confirm the slow kitchen the night we went was an anomaly!Grazie molto é stato un piacere lavorare con voi.

The great thing about travelling in Germany as an Englishman is the Germans don't translate everything, menus are in German ( as a rule ) this makes eating out fantastic fun, and choosing a beer even better. And I'm being serious, in spain everything is in English, where is the fun in that! So maybe I accidentally ordered a pizza with a chewy base with a distinctly fresh from the freezer texture. I also ordered a salad to start and a beer in the interim. Again this could be a cultural divide, but I had to wait for the food before I could have my beer, despite me asking three times. In fact everything arrived in unison, starter, pizza, and beer - like a McDonald's happy meal - except for my experience the result was not so happy. Having said all the above, the staff were very helpful, and the restaurant is certainly popular, and the setting is very pleasant.
