Wir gehen oft hierher. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Der immer gut gelaunte Chef Rocco bietet auch gerne Alternativen an, wenn beispielsweise ein Gericht mal aus ist. Man kann entweder vorne in der Sportsbar sitzen und den Badmintonspielern bei einem kühlen Getränk zuschauen. Im hinteren Bereich gibt es einen separaten, ruhigen Restaurantbereich. Im Sommer kann man auch drauÃen sitzen.

Wir bestellen regelmäÃig bei Il Forno. Die Pizza ist echt Italienisch mit dünnem, groÃen Boden und leckerem Belag ! Auch der Salat ist sehr gut. Immer wieder gerne! Preis-Leistung stimmt. Wartezeit in der Regel ca.40min in den Nachbarort.

The restaurant has the feeling of the Italian seaside restaurant. The decor is modern yet very organic to the area of the coast of Italy by Naples. The owners a young couple both Italians with their little daughter, they are so sweet and kind. The night before our hosts in Bensheim had catered from the restaurant. The food was superb we had home made lasagna , ziti, risotto and 2 rolled meats one Florentine style and the other with prosciutto and mozzarella inside ....the desert was a Napoleon or Mille fliori with chocolate and cream layers to die for.We decided that we had to eat diner at La Taverna next night. The menu was very flexible. From appetizers to deserts. Some of us ordered pizza( one with tuna, mine salami and mushrooms and one with sweet potato yes unbelievable) and some of us pasta. You can be vegetarian or carnivorous or love fish you will find something delicious in the menu. My brother in-law wanted something that was not in the menu and they said not a problem they made it he loved it. The owner chef also brought to the table a plate with pasta so we would also try some more pasta that we had not ordered just so we would try for next time.Itâs a family owned place that loves to feed unbelievably great quality great tastes what they would make for their family.... love it. I get like I was in Italy at someoneâs home.

Wir waren öfters im Bel Gusto auch mit Familienfeiern. Immer ok.Heute hatte das Team scheinbar einen schlechten Tag. Beide Gerichtewaren fast kaum genieÃbar. Auf die Anfrage der Bedienung haben wir das mitgeteilt worauf der Chef m. E. sehr sehr laut und arrogant reagiert hat.

Such a lovely experience again here. The waitress is half Italian and German and I had a nice conversation with her.I had the seafood cocktail with smoked salmon starter - gorgeous !Then the swordfish and pasta and veg (and salad bowl which is very German and actually not Italian) special was fabulous . It was â¬20 but worth every penny. The house red wine is only â¬3.50 a glass and delicious. Staff overall all nice and friendly and the menu offers great choice of not only Italian food. Great location in centre . Best Italian i have eaten at in a long time !

Large menu of Italian food, from pizza till full dishes. Very nice ambient, a small terrasse to use by nice weather. Three choices for mid-day lunch (salat, or soup, main and dessert) changing every day at a very affordable price. A self-baked bread.
