Pizzas and pastas are in the course of the years of good quality, but the quality can sometimes change from very good to moderate. Same goes for the service. Still one of the better Italian restaurants in Heerenveen. Space tot sit/eat is small.Reservations recommended as this place is polular with the locals (including star soccer players of FC Heerenveen).

Iâm an Italian living in Heerenveen for a year now but just yesterday I had my first experience at Frisone Pazzo. I say âexperienceâ because it was definitely more than a simple dinner, for a couple of hours it felt like being in Italy . We had a 3 courses menu and weâve been surprised with delicious food, original and tasty ideas, always presented with a real Italian touch. Just with that we were completely satisfied, but the fifth star of my review belongs completely to Pierino, who welcomed us and followed us through the dinner with his sparkling personality and great attention for every detail. Was definitely a pleasure to have a chat in Italian while tasting delicious food! Last but not least the price is absolutely in line with the quality of food and service, and with the average of high level Dutch restaurants. We absolutely recommend the place and weâll be back soon! Ciao Pierino grazie e a presto!

A lovely Italian alongside the canal in Heerenveen.A wide choice on the menu. Staff helped with the translation of the menu. Fresh bread and soft cheese to start on the house.

Let me be clear, seafood in this quantity and mishmash of type have NO place on pizza. The service was good and the place itself clean.However the pizza was soggy, tasted of only anchovies and was unedibleSuch a shame. Remove this from the menu asap
