On Tripadvisor this place has a great rating. As a half-Italian family, we had great expectations. Unfortunately, the food did not deliver: the food is catered for the local taste. In this case: nearly all pastas seemed to contain creme. The truffle pasta had little taste and the prawns were small and overcooked. Maybe the chef had an offday? (Staff was friendly though and the food cheap.)

Hornberg is a very small community with very good restaurants and Gasthaus type hotels. On this evening we wanted something a little different than German food. The restaurant is known for its pizzas. There are probably over 20 varieties of toppings to put on your pizza. The crust is flavorful and cooked until a crispy bottom is attained. The sauce is beyond marinara with a light tomato and soft garlic flavor. As an Italian I would rate it at least 8 of 10. I'd order pizza from the restaurant again.

The pizza is nice and well baked. The salads and the landbier also. The service is very friendly and nice. We really liked sitting in the nice terrace

Had a lunch stop at this restaurant in Wolfach along the Blackforrest High Route. They have Italian Meals and Pizza but also select German food available. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and is located in the heart of the Blackforrest town.

Die Bruschetta hat super gut geschmeckt. Eine sehr gute Alternative zur Pizza. Auch unsere Kinder waren begeistert. Netter Barkeeper und schönes Ambiente.

Wir waren in der Pizzeria Schlossberg zu Gast und eigentlich war alles bestens. Für uns hatte die Pizza ein wenig zu viel Teig, aber das mag ja jeder ein wenig anders.Nichts umwerfendes, aber doch eine gute Pizza.
