Reviewed By LegareWe stayed one night at Gasthaus zur Blume on our walk along the West Way. The owner of this hotel was exceedingly polite and pleasant. Our bedroom (#1) and bathroom were both spotlessly clean and modern, although uncomfortably warm. Overnight the room would not breathe, even with the window wide open, which made it difficult for us to sleep well. Road noise was a problem for us too. Breakfast was not fancy, but not bad either. The hotel is located directly on the trail and there is a proper grocery store on the opposite side of town.

Reviewed By loboboEiche is a nice small hotel in the center of Hausach. Westweg hikers are welcome and it’s close to the Hausach Portal. We liked the athmosphere and the good food. In the summer it’s nice to sit outside and enjoy the local cuisine with a good beer.

Reviewed By Ois1999My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was nicely decorated, furnished and perfectly clean. Above all, the hostess is so friendly and accommodating. She helped us figure out public transport to various attractions each day and freshly prepared an extra vegetarian option for my girlfriend's breakfast. We also dined at the connected Restaurant Akropolis and the food and service were wonderful.
