A friend introduced us to this restaurant very close to the Steigenberger Hotel where we were staying for a week.We ate there several times after that and loved the pineapple and ham pizza (only one large size), Lasagne, Rigatoni Gorganzola, Mango Salad, Caesar Salad, Tomato Soup, and Chicken Salad. The service was great and the atmosphere was lively. Many young people were enjoying the food inside and outside on their patio.Ciao Cheri,Thank you very much for giving us a good rating. We were pleased to have you with us. And we're glad you enjoyed your meal. As you may have noticed, all our dishes are freshly prepared âá la mammaâ in our open kitchen. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 10 Personen und haben selten so einen schlechten Restaurantbesuch erlebt. Getränke muss man sich förmlich erbetteln. Wenn man endlich ein Neues hat, wird das alte Glas nicht abgeräumt. Der ganze Tisch voller Gläser. Die Hälfte von uns hatte Pasta, leider ohne Löffel. Auf Nachfragen brachte man EINEN - den sollten wir uns wahrscheinlich alle teilen... eine nicht der deutschen Sprache mächtige Kellnerin brachte ein Essen und flüsterte 3 Meter entfernt von uns âwem ist dasâ , wir fragten was das ist - die Antwort âFleischâ. Des Weiteren brachte eine andere Kellnerin eine Brokkoli Hähnchen Pizza (laut Karte gibt es die da nicht einmal) wie sich raus stellte , war es eine âVier-Käse-Pizzaâ. Das Personal ist einfach unfähig. Das Essen reiÃt es nicht raus.Schade um die schöne Location, mit dem Wechsel hat sich der Besitzer keinen Gefallen getan.

Wir dachten, am Freitagabend geht's mal wieder zu Don Michele. Und es war eine gute Idee.Wir hatten einen schönen Tisch im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants, wenn das Wetter schön ist kann man sonst auch prima im Biergarten sitzen, wobei da auch der Wein schmeckt :-), nicht nur das Bier.Wir hatten Pasta mit Schinken und Spargel bestellt, dazu noch Pizza wie sich das gehört beim Italiener.Die Inhaber sind zwar keine Italiener, dass tut aber den leckeren Speisen und dem Ambiente keinen Abbruch.Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl, alle Speisen waren lecker, der Service sehr angenehm und authentisch freundlich.Weiter so Don Michele, wir kommen wieder.Danke für den schönen Abend und den guten Start ins Wochenende!!

We were staying in a hotel about a block away and walked by L'Osteria several times. We finally decided to give it a try after checking it out on Tripadvisor. While not a bad experience we would probably not go back. The atmosphere was pleasant, our server very good, and the prices were reasonable, The bruschette was good, but we were pretty disappointed with the pizza. Unlike the pictures posted on Tripadvisor, there was very little cheese on the pizza and the sauce was thin and watery. If I could, I would give it a 3.5.Ciao! Thank you very much for your feedback. We love to make our pizzas large, thin, and crispy â just like original Italian pizzas. Unfortunately a thick layer of cheese would make the pizza base soggy instead of crisp.Cordiali saluti,The L'Osteria Team

we had dinner there twice and the pasta dishes where really delicious and perfectly prepared. Try the Tagliolini with truffle oil mixed in a big Parmesan cheese which they do not have on the menu card but make for customers if asked to do so. Unfortunately the service was not really good on both evenings. the home-made desserts are lovely.

Very welcome place, good friendly host.Food, wide selection of fresh pasta's, pizza and meat/fish. Had some of the best pasta I've ever had here. I had dinner and chose the Mediterranean pasta with different vegetable and it was delicious. Perfectly Al dente pasta which is freshly homemade. Service was friendly and price was good, so I can recommend this place to anybody loving Italian food.
