都城市内に数店舗あるジョイフルの中で、最も高速インターに近いという絶好のロケーション。朝８時から２５時までの営業ですが、近辺にはこうした時間帯まで営業している飲食店はないので便利です。 数あるメニューの中から決まってオーダーするのは時間帯にかかわりなく提供される和食、洋食あわせて６種類ぐらいあるモーニングメニュー。スープ以外は飲み放題というドリンクバーもついているのでかなりのお得感です。（平成２９年７月時点で４９０円） ご飯の量は、店舗によって微妙に異なるようですが、それ以外の料理は店舗による量の違いや盛り付け、味の違いはなく安心と信頼の全店共通仕様というのもありがたいです。

夜明かししたネットカフェから道路の向かいに有ったので朝ご飯に寄りました。まあ地元にも有る全国チェーンの店だから値段も味も変わらず安心でした。

This restaurant serves real, traditional, and high quality Japanese food. This place is currently unknown for foreigners; it's a hidden gem in country side of Japan. The location is excellent, too. The river runs near by the property and customer can choose to sit at the patio looking at the river or sit inside of the room. During the rainy season (around June), hydrangea can be seen around the river and property and it would be very beautiful. The atmosphere is superb! They converted old Japanese house into restaurant so people can feel the traditional Japanese life style; it feels like you have time tripped to some centuries ago. They serve Udon and Soba and you can choose hot or cold. It's so delicious! Free range chicken is known for this region and it included in the menu; the meat is so tender and tasty. The true value of culture in the country (Japan in this case) is often hidden and unknown; in other words, not commercialized like other tourist spots. This place keeps traditional Japanese style, and I hope they keep the standard. * There's no English menu (yet) of course, and no one speak English. The service can be a little bit slow (country style) and there's self service water/tea/coffee.

We took awhile to find this restaurant. GPS guided us to the correct place but we do not read Japanese and did not realise we were already there! Food at the restaurant was good. The Chicken Nanban was delicious. It was tasty, tender and juicy. We also tried the mushroom tempura which was also very good. The mushroom flesh was fresh n thick. The restaurant owner also happen to own the food store at the same stop. Chef owner was very friendly and recommended some very nice foodstuff for us to buy. We happily bought the groceries he recommended - kumquat ginger syrup, yuzu salad dressing which was used by the restaurant, dried shitake, and a lot of other stuff. They bubble wrapped the breakables for us. Great service! . It was worthwhile circulating to find this gem of a place! Will stop here again if I am in the area.

知り合いに連れられて行ったお店です。待ち時間が少々ありましたが、待った甲斐がありました。評判通り美味しかったです。チキン南蛮、たまりませんね。料金もリーズナブルで良心的でした。

I come to the Tamago Bokujo every year as my family moved back to Kirishima.Every year I look forward to having the Omurice :DYou receive complementary salad from the salad bar as well as dessert, tea, coffee.Great price to!The Omurice is sooooo delicious and so fresh! Tastes amazing!!!Staff are friendly and service is great.Avoid coming over the weekend as the restaurant is quite small and many tourists will show, so try coming mid week.Definitely worth visiting :)
