hi. we stayed at the hotel for a few days. great place. flawless. BUT the restaurant really is not good. - unexperienced and unflexible service - they even nit explain the menu in English- tbh we never had such bad quality meat - not even the dog ate it - five courses with no choices- tiny (!) portions- very (!) slow serving a plus is the matching of wine and food. and generally it is a fair approach to swedish cusine. but taking all in account (especially the bad and partly outrageous service) we cannot give it more than one point. nothing in this restaurant (besides the setting) comes close to five stars. sorry. not sorry. considering the price. but the hotel is really amazing.

2. Slitebaden Hotell Restaurang

Pretty spot in Slite! We were there to do some cycling and look at the famous quarry. This was a great laid back spot which was of course a nicer, more service-centric place than the nearby pizza place or thai place. Didn't need reservations, very acceptable food.

We have been here every summer since they opened, and it's something beyond anything else. It's like coming to a small new world. Their food is really really great and it's very well done. That you can borrow bikes to explore the surroundings is fantastic. We are very thankful for this place.
