We were in Villaggio Mall, and decided to try this place because we had a two-for-one voucher. The restaurant was quite packed because of the weekend buffet probably, but there was no problem getting a table. The buffet was really cheap at less than USD20 per person, and half that with the voucher. Not a bad selection for starters, main dishes and dessert, but food was really average. Fizzy drinks was included, but they try to get us to order from the drinks menu which was extra, but still cheap really.

This was my third time going to the business lunch buffet. I can say that the quality and taste of the food is consistent. I use the entertainer which is great value as it is buy one main menu and get one free.Go to any other chocolate place and you can get a dessert (as a main menu item) and get one free. You can only use the vouchers for sandwiches, pasta and breakfast items.The chocolate is not great so I wonât be going here again there are many much better places offering better value and much tastier chocolate just nearby at Medina Central.

Fortunate are those who land up at the Q-Lounge, Banana Island, Doha. My family and I had heard about, and even been to, resorts of repute but when we arrived at Banana Island, it overtook our expectations. The hypnotic awesome entrance, the clean-clear beach, the suites, the swimming pool, the lush-green foliage, the serenity, and the silent means of commutation, all add up to an unprecedented experience! We had heard about Paradise, but had never been there till we set foot on the Banana Island. It is said that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach - and no one knows better than the Great Chef, Abhinandan and his team that is wedded to serve only to exercise a pull like a magnet! Abhinandan's team is not only expert in culinary skills, but also in beating everyone else when it comes to winning hearts!!The only aspect that we did not appreciate was to leave from that Paradise. But still, we consider ourselves fortunate on being to the Q-Lounge; there's a Queue of joy waiting to splurge on you!! This is the fourth time I organise an event on banana island and am so happy we pulled it off despite our final group being much bigger than what we expected: we had 50 people join in from all walks of life!Thank you to the events manager, Mai, the spa director, Cindy, and Atif and Basnet at Azraq restaurant for creating an unforgettable experience. Staff here are smily and helpful. Coffee is good, pastry selection is yummy and reasonably priced. Even good for the occasional take-away of salads or sandwiches all nicely packed for carrying.
