During our one week vacation in Cozumel we spent an afternoon at Buccanos. Nice chairs in shade or sun, great beach with activities and clean pool. Best fish tacos that I have ever had anywhere! Admission fee a credit toward food & drink.

Really enjoyed my last visit to Palmeras! I remember going here for the first time about 15 years ago and then getting the chance to go again every few years. It hasn't changed a bit and I hope it never does. Great view of the waterfront during the evening. With a lot of cruise ships in port, your view of the water will be obstructed by people and taxis. Something to note.Great staff and great food every time and the live music is nice if you're up for it. I had great fajitas last time so I think this is the best option, but they have lots of great stuff on their menu.Hola James! We have enjoyed Casa Mission for many, many years! It is always in our top ten list for a great dinner. A warm welcome, immediate seating. They bring the menus and drink offerings promptly. Fine house Margarita! Good, reasonably priced wines, no list, but several Reds and Whites offered! Our same fine waiters have served us for many years.They make fresh Guacamole for your party, right at the tableside, a real treat. We always have the classic Caesar salad, also expertly prepared at your table.We always have the Lobster here, now only $28usd for the complete meal! This time they offered a Huuuge Fresh Spider Crab, which was so big, we all had to help! It was delicious, we will go back for this one. Not always on the menu, but do ask if they are available.Seating is always outside, in the lovely wrap-around porch at Casa Mission. There is no A/C, but in the evening they do have lots of big fans and it is OK. They do have an in-town version, smaller, not elegant, but same great food and good prices. It is right off the main avenue along the water, easy walking. I'm so glad I saved one of the best for last! Last dinner in Cozumel before we head back home. Cielito Lindo was a new try for us (family of 4). I had made reservations requesting indoor dining with air conditioning, the restaurant is very quaint, sits on a corner with a lot of outdoor seating. Mariano was our excellent server.Of course I had to have my last Don Julio Tequila while looking over the menu. We started off with the Azteca Soup. Entrees were: Cochinita Yucatán (tender pork, pickles onions, avocado in a garlic sauce), Lechuguilla De Pollo en Salsa de Mole (chicken breast stuffed with cheese and mushrooms, dipped in a mole sauce with mash potatoes), Pasta Poblano with Chicken and The Green Chili Enchiladas. Of course we ended our meal with sharing the Churros dessert. ALL the food was AMAZING, Loved the Cochinita Yucatán. The service was perfect. Atmosphere nice. Today was our second attempt at coming here, we came a couple years ago as well. We came because it looks like fun and to some extent it is. But the entertainment doesnt make up for the high prices and low quality. We ordered 2 16oz mojitos and couldnt finish them they tasted so bad and we learned from our last trip not to order the food here.This is the only place we have ever gotten I'll from the food in Cozumel. Beautiful room. Again, full staff in the restaurant, all bored and looking at their phones. I went there at 7 p.m. thinking they'll have some guests but that was not the case. I had a gin based cocktail which was enormous and the octopus. Not bad. I want to support the local economy, I really do, but when the people that work there are looking at you like you're bothering them (yes I realize it's slow throughout the island but common guys), you tend to eat quick and leave. Again, in high season I'm sure it's a different story.Hola! We apologize for the inconvenience. Weâll do our best to change our waiters actitud on low seasons!
