Santa Rosa Wall

Underwater wall with spectacular coral reefs.

Reviewed By raymond h - Omaha, Nebraska

this is a wall, no one really knows how deep it is,you cannot see bottom, he divemasters say not to go below 80ft, now they will check for current,if to much do not go, there s a lot of down current, they will not go there if there is because yo will fight to stay at 80ft, and it will not be fun...otherwise....very nice relaxing dive, ask your divemaster to drop you past half the reef, then you will see the wall, and then still be able to go thru a last swim thru that will take you to about 25ft, and then you can dive the shallows and maybe see an eagleray, there are small reefs to also see as you almost take a safety stop at 20/25ft....very nice dive, might be there for a total of 55 minuites...

Columbia Reef

Giant sea turtles and groupers await those with the courage (and the experience) to brave the fierce currents at this diving site.

Columbia is great because we typically dive Columbia Deep and then dive Columbia Shallows as and extra long safety stop. Deep has amazing coral formations and swim throughs. Shallows has awesome marine life. We will typically white balance our cameras and do video.

El Paso del Cedral Reef

A popular site for drift diving off the coast of Cozumel.

Reviewed By raymond h - Omaha, Nebraska

cedral wall is my favorite, ask your divemaster if there is a lot of current there, if so I would pass until there is less current, this is their winter in Cozumel, so there is current almost everywhere on palancar reefs, buti dove there 5 times this month already, unbearable current there only two of the dives, when its like this its not for beginners, when all is ok, wow from the wall you move into cedral de passe, which is more shallow, its beautiful,on the wall you can take pictures of sharks, green morays, some out of the hole and wanting to free swim, when you get to some of the shallows at cedral there will be plenty of turtles, watch when you jump right in, sometimes even though not a lot there will be an eagleray maybe teaching a new born to swim in current, its amazing to watch..drum fish ,drum fish can also be seen on cedral.....

While not very long, this reef is full of brightly colored fish and coral.

Shallower dive site where you expect to see smaller critters, though we still saw eagle rays, large turtles, and sting rays. Excellent specimen of a toad fish made for a great dive!

Cielo Reef is the same as a SkyReef.
Came here during the snorkeling trip. We did see many starfishes, but very on the deep bottom of an ocean, and looked small. We did same kind of a trip in Dominican and got to hold the starfishes and take pictures with them.
Dissapointed!
One cool thing that i saw was a big fish eating a Starfish, half-eaten.

My friends & I were on the Carnival glory cruise & our last stop was in Cozumel. Found out about Mr Sanchos Beach Club from a YouTube video & thought it would be the perfect place to spend the day. After a short 15min drive from the port we were. It was so much fun. Loved the all inclusive drinks & food. The ocean was so clear & I loved being able to see all the fish swimming around me. Loved the hospitality from all the workers. Especially the fact that the bartender remembered everyone in our group by name. Julio & Jose we’re great ! This place is definitely worth the visit & I would love to come back again.
