Ordered several quarter Mutton Curry Bunny Chows.Wasn't sure what to expect. However, the Bunny Chows were great value for money.Lots of gravy, decent size, fair amount of meat and potatoes.Taste was excellent - just spicy enough.Considering the lack of good Bunny Chows in Pietermaritzburg, I would rate this the best Bunny Chow in Pietermaritzburg.

The Coconut Grove has been around for a long time and has grown from the small take away in Thomas Street. Their food is always fresh, tasty and competitively priced. The portions are also very generous. Will strongly recommend them. They also host functions. We had a school reunion at their branch in the Liberty Mall and they arranged a large cake as well as ensured that the background music was from our era. Such attention to detail speaks volumes about their level of service. My favourite dish - the "surf n turf''

I had a takeaway mutton curry from them recently and it was scrumptious. The food was fresh and really tasty although I would've liked to have seen a bit more meat. It's not situated in the best part of town, but the food is worth it!

Tandoor Kitchen

I used to really like the Tandoor Kitchen. Tasty food well made. I took a friend for a celebration two weeks ago. We started off with some samoosas. Cheese and sweetcorn. Pretty tasteless. Then a supposed Lamb Roghan Jhosh. What was the strange grey meet in this dish? Lamb? I don’t think so. None of the lamb sweetness. It looked like old, grey beef. And the sauce had heat but not much flavour. And where was the green pepper? Yep, distinctly underwhelmed. Not returning in a hurry.
