Mamma Mia's is a stones throw away from home so always makes for a quick and homely eatout away from home. My biggest and best comfort food is pasta and they do this really well. I find it sweet, cosy and relaxing, especially on a Sunday evening when things are toned down and this place is a good space to just chill.

We have been buying pizza here since they opened earlier this year. The store is halaal certified. The pizzas in thick base are best. The pizza folds and chocolate pizza is a must-try. All the food is best eaten at the store and while hot but you can always reheat at home according to instructions. The sweet chilli chicken + feta and the BBQ meat lovers are our favourites. The staff are very helpful, accommodating and friendly. The store is moderate in size but is clean and decorative.

I have not enjoyed such yummy pizza since Pizzology closed down in December. Great memorable service and evwn more gorgeous pizza. Their thin pizza bases with the addition of what looks like semolina gives it an incredibly crunchy and very different texture. The base is extremely well baked and not at all stodgy compared to other mediocre pizza joints. The 3 Cheese pizza was simply delish and my Tikka Veg got the nod although they could have been more generous with the veggie toppings. All in all though, I will definitely go back for more!

The Family I mean the whole family all nearly 20 of us decided late on Saturday afternoon that we needed dinner and Scoozis was the place to go. the service was brilliant, the beers were cold. The Pizzas are a good as I remember them. Billing was not a problem as we needed separate bills we were given paddles and when we ordered we showed the paddle. No mistakes with the billing. Wonderful Service the lady that assisted was polite and chose some very good Red wines for us. so well done again a real Gem in the Suburbs.

Pizzology Wood-Fired Pizza

Serious about pizza, Pizzology strives to make the thinnest, crispiest pizza bases. We import ‘Tipo 00’ flour from Italy, top the bases with the freshest local produce and then wood-fire each pizza to perfection in a replica Pompeii oven.

If you like me and are tired of the slabs of dough, with cheap toppings and smothered in mayonnaise and chutney that most "pizza" houses sell, well then come here. A true pizza base with proper toppings you can taste. I love the mutton one.

My review Service = slowFood waiting time = Well above averagePrice = well above averageChicken pesto open sandwich had pickled ginger or radish on it. Very wierd taste profileMinced bacon pizza had cheap bacon finely chopped on it. The base was very chewy indicating that the dough is overproved. Not how a pizza should be made. Now for the worst. The seafood pizza. It had a sugary tomatoe base with either orange marmalade or lemon marmalade on it with battered onion rings, how the onion rings are supposed to add any flavour or what its meant to add to the pizza only the chef knows. Also the base although well cooked was also very chewy. I feel that the chef is trying to turn what used to be a good coffee shop into something over pretentious. Adding herbs and flavours that make dishes to complicated, or am I missing the point?Hi Janet,We've already replied to your review on Google Business, followed up on your experience, found your receipt, discussed it among our staff and found that other than the fact our waitress who served you said you ate almost everything, made no comments whatsoever about the service / food or beverages to her or either of the two managers on the floor at the time of your visit, and according to her you gave no indication of a negative experience at the time. You paid your bill, you gave her a lovely gratuity and left under what we saw as a content customer - which is our primary focus and aim!Yet you have gone out of your way to publicly expose us as a 1 Star, poorly managed and pretentious establishment. We have been humbly serving the local community for over 4 years now, our service and attention to detail have on most occasions been well reviewed and appreciated - something I personally strive for with my staff each and every day!My concern with your review is that you never once made a comment / asked for assistance, or brought your experience to the attention of one of our managers, who would've jumped immediately in to make amends on what, according to you was an absolute disastrous experience! Now, we implore you once again as we did on your Google Review to please contact us via email at [email protected] so that we can communicate directly and personally to try understand and come to an amicable solution from your experience.Yours sincerly,
