Very yummy sushi and the trailer is in a very nice place. So cute trailer right next to New World. The sushi is very well presented in a display fridge. Will recommend to people who love sushi. Visited this restaurant on a 1st table sitting nice atmosphere with very good service we had a 3 yr old with us and our waitress was super with him keeping him amused and occupied while we enjoyed our meal. The food was very good though we were disappointed with the pork belly as we had better elsewhere everything else was very enjoyable. When back in Wanaka I will definitely eat here againThanks for your comments. We are glad you enjoyed dining at Jack Rabbit. We are all about families and having a relaxed dining experience.

Visited this small restaurant on 6th jan for lunch. We ordered some sushi to go with the noodles and the curry rice. The sushi were so so but the curry rice is quite nice! Interestingly the noodles tasted a bit Singapore style Hor fun! All in all, itâs cheap and satisfy our craving! Would have given a 3 star if itâs Singapore but considered quite good if itâs in NZ.

Group of 4 went for breakfast. Order taken and 3 breakfasts delivered. The 4th didnât!After some time I told an assistant who sought a reason. I was told that the kitchen was busy and that my order was on its way. My friends finished their meals, so we again asked the question. This time we were told that the order had been âmissedâ. We were told that as an apology another pot of tea would be provided at no cost.The order eventually arrived, but the tea did not! Whilst I cannot fault the quality of the food, customer service needs improving. Must do better!!!

Ode restaurant sources everything locally organically grown wherever possible. They have contracts with local farms to ensure the best quality and freshest ingredients.They are into sustainability, conservation and minimising environmental impact. There is no compromise on the quality of the dishes they serve up. Some were rather novel, but all were first class.They do not need to go far to source top quality wines, and the drinks are all from NZ.A great addition to the Wanaka restaurant scene.Thank you choosing to dine with us and we are pleased you enjoyed your Ode experience!

If anyone wants to wait for more than 1 hour to get a simple meal severed, this is the right place. I tried to get the order done quickly by walking to the counter. But I was told to go back to my seat, it had to be a specific person to take the order. Finally this important lady turned up at our table, and told us that we have to wait until the other guests finished their orders since we arrived after them. 2 entrees and 1 dish were started to be served after 40 mins slowly in different time. After 1 hour or so this order-taking lady came to tell us that the fried rice was missed out.

Don't let the meat put you off, you can order lots of delicious salads (coleslaws and roast veggie salads when I visitied). You can also order a vegetable tagine. I cannot recommend enough that you should visit here - it was recommended to us by one of the locals!
