The Chopping Block specializes in specialty meats, sausages made from wild game, summer sausages, smokies, South African sausages and various other types of sausages, choice of fresh beef, pork, chicken and seafood. Excellent selection of cheese, produce and other deli items. What a delightful store to browse around in. The staff are helpful and very friendly. Highly recommended.

We met friends here for lunch and were quite disappointed that much of the menu was unavailable, as it is so off season. We had eaten here before and the choices were varied.That said, the food we DID have was good - very good - to excellent.I had the seafood chowder and it was excellent, totally surpassing the chowder I had had a week before at Spinnakers in Victoria (although I also had to ask to have it heated). The chicken caesar wrap was delicious. My friends enjoyed their meals. The coffee was good as well!
