Korfu, die grüne Insel, auch im Restaurant war alles im grünen Bereich. Nettes Personal, tolles Ambiente und auch das Essen war tadellos. Eine Resevierung wird echt empfohlen oder ihr kommt gegen Neun am Abend. Oben sitzt es sich am besten.

Friends took us here while we were in town. There is no good Greek food in San Francisco (unless you wanna spend an entire paycheck at Kokkari) and we were excited.We were not disappointed. Everything was great, fresh and garlicky (in a good way) They have a little kids corner that kept my 3year old busy for a long time.I usually have very low expectations on german service, but our waitress was outstanding. Thank you!!

Hainichen verfügt nicht über all zu viele Restaurants, das Athos liegt im Stadtpark und ist im Sommer auf Grund seines schönen Biergartens immer ein Anlaufpunkt, auch wegen seiner Lage im Stadtpark und neben dem sehenswerten und besuchenswerten Gellertmuseum ,das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich,Super Service und die Speisen-typisch griechisch-sind immer frisch und gut zubereitet

Ein tolles Restaurant mit schönem Biergarten und sehr aufmerksamen Personal, welches sehr auf alle Kunden eingeht. Das Essen ist vielfältig, sehr reichlich und noch viel leckerer. Abends sollte man reservieren.

Schöne AuÃenplätze, sehr aufmerksamer Service. Und die Portionen ... wie man es beim *Griechen* eben kennt. Obwohl der Ouzu natürlich der Verdauung nicht zuträglich ist, schmeckt er trotzdem. Apropos: die verkosteten Speisen waren ohne jeder Einschränkung sehr schmeckhaft. Also gerne mal wieder!

We visit my wife's family in Frankenberg at least once a year. Thus, we've made an annual pilgrimage to Athene for the past dozen or so years. We always come back because it is, for sure, the best place to eat in Frankenberg. Reminds me of the film My Big Fat Greek Wedding since there are always a lot of loud, happy people surrounded by boatloads of food.We like to start off by sharing the cold appetizer platter. It's possibly my favorite part of the meal. Then we move on to one of the many meaty mains. There are so many good choices I don't even know where to start, but tonight I had #131 which was pork in creamy tomato sauce. It was very tasty. My wife had a saucy giros platter which was nice and crispy but too salty for my taste. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order that one again.As in any Greek restaurant, on screen or in real life, the service is good and everyone is friendly. Of course they wrap it all up by giving you free Ouzo to help with digestion. We'll be back again next year.
