My friend and I both had pasta dishes, and both of us were very happy with the food. It was excellent indeed. The waitress, who spoke good English, was very nice too, patient and very friendly. The prices were agreeable as well. We will definitely go there again if we revisit Chemnitz one day.

This is one of the oldest, beautifully restored buildings in Chemnitz. The interior is well decorated along the Erzgebierge (Ore Mts) theme, and the friendly staff wears traditional costumes. In short, it's a cosy atmosphere. The menu offers many well prepared local items at a reasonable price. There are a number of stairs to deal with before reaching ,and within, the restaurant. Phone ahead to get a nice table.

Came here for lunch, had chilli burger, hot dog, vegan burger and chicken with chips. The best thing was the latte, really nice thick foam. My hot dog was cold, onion rings were really good, the rest was unmemorable, staff were friendly, decor was nice, bit out of the centre of Chemnitz but free parking available.

It is really a gem! Inside the park with a great view and a setting that combines socialist nostalgia with a great friendly family meeting. Full menu having lots of local delicacies and something for every taste, Good for families, friendly gatherings, romantic dinners. Fair prices and a list of drinks missing nothing. Definitely a place to visit more than once if you are in Chemnitz. All seasonal German kitchen also available (at this time Pfifferlinge - mushrooms)
