The restaurant is cosy and nicely decorated in a beautiful location. The service was very nice. The place is very child-friendly. The food was very good and very nicely prepared.A great place after a hike/stroll across the Zicker peninsula.

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen. Es war sehr voll und wir mussten leider im Speisesaal drinnen Platz nehmen. Die kleine Terrasse war auch besetzt. Der Service war freundlich, aber es dauerte eine Weile bis wir die Bestellung aufgeben könnten. Man fühlt sich echt zurückversetzt in die DDR, der DDR-FuÃboden (Linoleum) riecht noch immer, die typischen Gläser und Teller. Nun zum Essen: mein Zander war sehr lecker, bei dem Kindergericht und dem Schnitzel war die Qualität nicht so gut. Die Erbsen zu trocken und die Salatbeilage etwas lieblos. Schade â¦Preislich gibt aber nichts zu meckern und wer gern ins DDR-Museum geht, ist hier richtig.

Wer das Fischbrötchen *frischer geht`s nicht* und zudem megalecker erleben möchte, der sollte den Abstecher hierher einplanen. Es wird auf Bestellung gearbeitet, und genau das macht das einmalige Geschmackserlebnis aus. Besser geht`s nicht. Anreise per Fahrrad ist natürlich überhaupt kein Problem, sofern man in der Nähe wohnt, aber selbst die vierrädrigen Besucher finden einen Parkplatz. Alles also, das wiederhole ich mich gerne, tatsächlich perfekt!

Die Speisen sind gut, dass zunächst einmal vorweg. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und persönlich, es fühlt sich an wie eine richtige Dorfkneipe. Das Lokal ist sehr voll, wir hatten Glück einen Platz bekommen.

This is a great restaurant in the most idyllic setting of Alt Reddivitz about 15 kilometers from Binz. Unfortunately the wonderful view over the lake will be obscured next year by appartments - so get there soon! The food is superb, the fish very fresh and tasty (according to my friends who accompanied me). I had a pork dish (sauer ......?) It was delicious and such a large portion served with yummy Bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes), pickled cucumbers and red onion. German food at its best! We'll be back!

Nach einer langen Wanderung kehrten wir am Nachmittag im Having-Hof ein. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und schnell, das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Wir bestellten den besten Eierkuchen mit Pflaumenmus ever, auch die MV-Sülze schmeckte sehr gut.Gerne kommen wir wieder.

"Gasthof Zum Walfisch" is a wonderful Restaurant and small Hotel in the remote fishing village of Lobbe/Rügen. Owned by the same family since 1888 it offers 19 rooms for the price of 28,- to 45,-⬠p/P per night with breakfast, depending on the season. It has a lovely Restaurant with maritime decoration, also telling the story how the house got its name. The menue is small but nice and the prices are really moderate depending on the location.Starters from 4,30 to 6,60 Soup from 3,80 to 3,90 Salads from 3,20 to 8,40 Fish from 8,90 to 12,90 and Meat from 8,20 to 20,- â¬.The service is friendly, quick and helpful and the dishes are really tasty, we tried fried herring and it was really wonderful.in front of the house is a lovely beergarden where you can sit when the weather is fine, the Baltic Sea is only a stonethrow away.

This fish restaurant was very good. The menu includes typical German as well as international dishes. All were very tasty. The portions were adequate for us, but might not be enough for more hungry people; I recommend ordering an appetizer. The value-for-money could therefore be improved. The service was exceedingly friendly and very casual. The restaurant belongs to the Hotel "Deutsche Flagge" (see corresponding review here on tripadvisor). However, one can enter it without passing through the hotel, and so it does not have the feel of a hotel-restaurant.
