Ate in the attractive garden following an enthusiastic welcome. Service of highest standard throughout. The standout was the halibut, brilliantly cooked; but all the fish was good, the sauces delicate and well made. A really good holiday evening in a memorable setting.

This restaurant is one of the reasons I like Sylt. It offers friendly service and a creative touch o its menu at a reasonable price. It aint cheap but it is value for money. The menu has changing features which all sound great and at least the ones we tried were great. Try the apple soup and the lamb saussages if you can. Also the Saturday duck special seems to make everyone happy but it tends to be short in supply so better order in advance. In addition they carry never changing classics on the menu. At least the grilled fish platter I have tried and it is also recommendable. If at all it may lack a twist compared to many of the other dishes to seggregate from the competition. But that seems to be intentional for a classic - and it was very goood anyhow.... Kids can be brought and receive adequate attention. They get their food with the starters so that everyone has a better dinner experience. Grevensteiner by the keg is also worth enjoying. All in all, a must visit place in Wenningstedt.

Really loved the kitchen&service at Tellerand, very nice team and amazing food, great fish dishes!The dessert was a big surprise - the Easternegg - but also everything else was just delicious! Great place to go with your friends enjoying the nice atmosphere and fresh food!

The terrace dining is pleasant. There are only a few tables inside. We called a few restaurants in Kampen and had trouble getting a reservation anywhere else so we called here. Their personnel is young and inexperienced. When we asked if they could take our party of three they said they were all booked up in the restaurant until 8 pm. To eat out on the terrace we could just show up and see if we could get a table which we did not want to take the chance for. Then we called again to take the 8 oâclock time and the young lady told us that we should just come on over as a lot of people were done eating. When we got there at 7:30 fully half the tables on the terrace were empty. The personnel just does not have their act together. When we were ordering I asked the waitress what she recommended and she said everything was good. Only after ordering did we see there was a blackboard with specials of the day on it. I asked the waiter what âKaamp Merenâ means and he didnât know, said it was just the name. The food was just okay. The salad however was excellent.

Manne Pahl has been an institution in Campen for several decades now and a reservation is a must. Still, the food is good, the service friendly and efficient, and the place continues to feel "local", not uncomfortably snobby and overflown with "in"-people (or those who think they are)

âHot spotâ Beach bistro bar, with a setting, and feel not often seen along the German coast. For a small lunch, during a beach day, after beach, or sunset drink.Order and pay at counter.Surfers get together.Relatively, rather high prices, but understandable, as the remote location, and being on an island, requires a bit of extra logistics. Assumed to be very lively at sunny days, and event programme, summer evenings.Beer in bottle, no draft beer.You need to walk some twelve minutes from the parking, through the protected dunes area.You pay for parking, and you pay another Euro four, per head, for beach entrance.You can also go by bus (bus from âListâ towards âWesterlandâ, or opposite direction, but be prepared to walk some 300 meter along the main road, as well as about one km from the parking. The advantage is, by foot, you can, after a drink at this place, walk along the beach to âKampenâ, where you may take a bus to your next stop. Bus 1, off at âKampen Dikstichâ (ask bus driver).Restrooms, around the corner of the house, pretty clean for being a beach place.

The food was great, the wines too. But I wasn´t happy with the treatment of the service stuff. I ve got the impression, that they are to much concerned about the profit on the guest than a long term good reputation.Something that need improvement! The location is beautiful, the menu too - just the attitude is to pushed profit orientated- a bit to much for my taste.

Guess the island has not learned about service yet. After reading in a magazine that this is Sansibars sister we decided to give it a try although the menu doesn't look to spectacular. Even got a booking on a Friday night outside. Upon arrival the service greeted us in a very rude way. When we said we'd like to have a look they said we have to ask for permission. When we said we have a booking outside they said they would give us a nice table inside. So we decided to go and leave our money at Sansibar which has better service and food for the same price. While leaving the manager gave us a rude comment.
