To finish our midweek short trip in Gelderland we chose for De Basiliek because they has a nice offer with Heerlijk.nl.A 5 dish lunch which was enjoyed with an excellent Viognier. All dishes were something special. They first appearance is beautiful. The first taste is nothing special, but when you combine its ingredients it appears that the chef knows what he is doing. Complex taste and beautiful presentation is a trademark for this restaurant. Only point of criticism is that the portions are too small......but do not let you be withhold to go over here, because they may be small but are certainly outstanding at a very reasonable price .... as long as it lasts. ( eur. 39,50)

We booked a cycling arrangement via socialdeal website. For 8,75 euro p.p. one is received at approx. 10.00 a.m. with a cup of coffee and a delicious home made apple pie with some fresh fruits and cream. After one makes a cycle ride at lunch time one is served a soup (choice of a variety of three) and a choice out of a Dutch Uitsmijter or Broodje Gezond. Although the soup was too salty the Uitsmijter and Broodje gezond were terrific. Really a generous portion and with the Uitsmijter also some salad was served. Well done.

Heerlijk eten, een prima drie-gangenverrassingsmenu voor ⬠29,50, maar als niet-saunabezoeker voel je je niet thuis tussen alle andere gasten in hun badjassen. Hopelijk lukt het de eigenaar om zijn plannen om dit te gaan scheiden dit jaar te verwezenlijken. Voor saunabezoekers (Sauna Drôme Putten) absoluut een aanrader.

High quality restaurant!!, I ate a series of four dishes, each one from a different world of tastes. Waitress explained how to eat the dishes properly so the tastes would be in sync, wonderful experience of tastes in the mouth!It could be felt that the ingredients the food were made of are of top notch freshness and quality. Onverwachts hier terecht gekomen omdat bij andere campings geen horeca (meer) open was. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en heerlijk eten en drinken. Leuk personeel en zeker een aanrader om nog eens terug te gaan.

Het Karrewiel is een restaurant op recreatiepark Ackersate, ziet er netjes en goed verzorgt uit, je kunt kiezen uit a la carte of zelf een menu samenstellen, beide van goede kwaliteit, goede bediening en bij voorkeur wel reserveren, neem wel je bevestiging mee want het gaat wel eens mis...nog een tip, check wel je rekening...

We had made reservations for a real Sunday lunch and were not disappointed at all. Season starter from the asparagus menu (with crab), two main dishes and strawberries as desert. All was straightforward good food. No "modernaties" like foams or fusion. Pure, good products, well prepared. Wild boar cheeks and confit duck legs, both with a very well matching sauce. Service was friendly and spontaneous, When you are ever on the "Veluwe", make the detour to Uddel !!Thank you for the great review. It was nice to help you and hopefully we will see you again!

As a rule I much dislike writing negative reviews, but the restaurant ât Speulderbos was a very disappointing experience.We dined there with a large family group and spared no expense, but we needed to send most of the fish dishes back to the kitchen as they were under done. I chose a steak and even though it was edible, it was certainly not great and not very well cooked.I can not recommend this restaurant. It is a pity that it somewhat spoiled our family reunion......
