Hotel needs some refurbishment
Reviewed By Ralf MIt was a pleasant stay for good price vs quality. Breakfast was good, but in general the hotel was outdated. It was not really a 4 star hotel in my view. No minibar, no water at the room, very noisy at the room, single glass windows, swimming pool outdated. On the other hand, service was good and the location was great, next to the forest.

Reviewed By mhowel629962Beautiful hotel nestled in the countryside, such lovely staff, we hired bikes and explored the area, we would have loved to stay another few days. The beds were really comfortable, the food was lovely, fantastic stay.

Disappointing
Reviewed By TravelingCeltWe stayed in a ground floor room with a small terrace for two nights (a Friday and Saturday night). Let us start with the good points. The hotel is well located in a beautiful woodland. The quality of food in the restaurant at dinner was good, albeit expensive.Stephanie, in the restaurant, provided excellent service. But the overall standard was disappointing. The room was reasonably large, but very dated. The screens on the shower were broken. Breakfast was of a poor standard with limited choice. Breakfast was particularly unsatisfactory on the Sunday, when the room was very crowded and many items ran out. In general there didn't seem to be enough staff. Housekeeping was disorganised and our room wasn't made up during our visit. The selection of channels on the TV system seems strange, with an unusually large number of german channels.

Just outside the small town, in the middel of the green area Veluwe, is Bungalowpark Bok. Here you can relax and enjoy the beautifull surroundings. The moment you receive the spacious park, you feel at home. All the lovely bungalows lie between the trees. The walk at the gravel will lead you to your own detached bungalow. Now you can start enjoying your holiday and the great adventures in this area. Thereby in the middle of the country and close to several attractions, tourist spots or museums. One hour drive to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Arnhem and Giethoorn.
Beautifully quiet, middle of nature
Reviewed By GUPPIE80This park is located just outside Garderen on the Veluwe in the Netherlands. The bungalows were spacious and clean. The area is beautiful for biking. In town there are a few grocery stores and cafe/restaurants. There is also a really good Bilderberg 4* hotel located close to this park.
