Na een eerder bezoek aan de Koriander, hebben wij via Heerlijk.nl kennisgemaakt met Fidele en wat hebben we een fantastische avond gehad. De prijs was met dit arrangement ongelofelijk scherp(5-gangen voor nog geen 40 euro) en de gerechten zijn bijzonder lekker, de combinaties zijn anders en gedurfd. Vaak zit er een lekker, spannend zuurtje aan toegevoegd. De bediening en ambiance (onveranderd) is echt heel aangenaam en de service is super. Mijn peetmoeder ziet weinig en daar werd speciaal een extra lamp bijgezet voor haar. Zo lief! Ze gaan op voor een Michelin ster, wat ons betreft nu al verdiend! Je voelt je bezwaard dat je zo waanzinnig zit te eten voor de prijs van dit arrangement. Hier wordt duidelijk geïnvesteerd in het opbouwen van naam en faam! Geweldig en absoluut een aandrader!Ontzettend leuk om te horen dat u een leuke avond hebt gehad en lekker hebt gegeten. Ook heel erg bedankt voor het delen en de positieve woorden!

Whilst staying on the island, we visited this small restaurant. We ordered the "wijn en spijs" with 4 courses (wine and food). Food was excellent; both quality and presentation exhibited high level cuisine style. Wines were carefully selected to accompany each course and definitely enhanced the experience. Food and wine were served in well balanced quantities - we are moderate eaters. Service was very friendly and personal in a stylish, yet low key setting. We definitely recommend this place and will be happy to visit again.

We checked in sipping drinks in the sun outside, were treated very friendly before deciding to sit a bit warmer inside (yes NL in springtime). Had among others oysters, pasta, flammkuchen (called pizza), good fries and wonderful bearnaise(in Friesland haha), filet americain, tia maria coffee and friandises, great plate of french cheeses.Excellent choice, fine quality, though not cheap... and excellent service, so friendly, compliments!Recommended!!

My boyfriend and I were curious for a while now. Wondering what that lovely little restaurant looked on the inside, cause the outside was very inviting! So we had a spontaneous dinner 2 days ago. What an amazing place! Very tiny, but warm en friendly. The only staff was the chef and the owner, who showed a lot of enthousiasm and warmth for his business. The service is excellent. Nothing bad to say about it. Friendly, funny and open. The food is perfection. You pay a bit more than average but you get special dishes, typically French and cooked very well!

We went here for a diner and thoroughly enjoyed.Reception and service were as expected, friendly and professional.The 6 course menu suggested by the restaurant was very good, as were the accompanying wines.Pacing was very pleasant (we like to take our time).Overall the restaurant definitely lives up to expectation and deserves its michelin star. After our experience with the last hotel restaurant (see my review of Navegadores), we were reluctant to try this hotel restaurant. However, after a long day of travel and a late arrival we had to make a choice between eating granola bars for dinner or giving this restaurant a go. We ended up in the adjacent restaurant (Le Brass) and while the menu certainly wasnât as fancy as the Michelin rated one it was very good. We both settled on the oriental salad, hubs with beef and me with shrimp, and it was excellent! Huge portion, delicious ingredients and just what the doctor ordered. We ate here again two nights later and while the food wasnât as good (hubs had fish, I had ribeye), the service was still very good. The restaurant is in one of the oldest houses of Vlieland. Everything was perfect: the quality of the food and the friendly personal. They don't have a menu but they offer you a dinner of three, four or even more courses, based on your preferences. We will certainly come back....

Okay, we did not expect this...but what a find! Located in the training facility of the Stenden Hotel, this restaurant serves a killer meal for a extremely friendly price. They use the 80-20 concept (80% vegetable-20% protein) and still manage () to produce excellent dishes! We will be back!

Having not been overly impressed with Leeuwarden as cultural capital of Europe, however we were delighted to find this little gem of a restaurant, the food was excellent- beautiful complimentary flavours with knowledgeable helpful staff, who were lovely and not intrusive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and were we to visit the area again would make sure we visit. One of the best meals we have had in a very long time. Loved the concept of no menu, but they do ask when booking if there is anything you don't like or have an allergy to.
