The municipality comprises the towns of Beernem proper, Oedelem and Sint-Joris. On January 1, 2006 Beernem had a total population of 14,642, mostly in Beernem proper and Oedelem. Even naar binnen voor de echte Belgische frituur. Heaas frituren ze hier echt alles. De hamburger op je broodje... nowt op de bakplaat maar in de frituur. Gold ook voor mn stok sate. Jammer. De patat was vettig. Dit moet echt beter kunnen. Ook het personeel was niet echt vriendelijk. Ook niet toen na 3x foutief pinnen van hun schuld er geen vriendelijk woord af kon. Volgende keer beter doorrijden.

Honest prices for very good food and a nice, contemporary decor. When you drive towards the Belgian coast, the stop at Beernem is worth taking to have a sandwich, a burger, a salad, a toast.

Visited twice during a short trip to Bruges. The first time for a takeaway. White baguette with mozzarella, tomato, pesto, pine nut and rocket which was very tasty. Fillings very fresh and the bread light and crunchy.On the second visit we ate in. This time a brown seeded long roll with crab, tomato and cucumber. Again very tasty. Very good coffee too. The staff are great and made our visit fun. Very reasonable price too.
