This place is just fine, good enough and all that. But Skäret, just beside, is a little better in almost every way. Better coffee. Better baked goods. Famous shrimp salads and sandwiches, and better people watching along the dock.

We had preordered a package for two with Skaldjurslyx, room and breakfast. We had read reviews in TA about complaints about bad rooms in side building, so we had ordered and paid extra for room in main building. Very nice room and absolutely no complaints about breakfast either. Re dinner, the seafood platter was actually quite nice, with probably 30 shrimps, 20 mussels, 5 sea cray fish and a large crab, for two. What we were lacking was the service mindedness by the personnel. They took the order and then left us. They delivered the platter, then left us. Never once they came back to check that everything was in order. We had to shout to get more bread, we had to ask them to exchange the plates when they got full, and when the dessert was delivered we had to tell them to first clean the table from all the remnants of the sea food. This unfortunately takes down the overall rating from our side. No complaints about the food and dessert and wine were reasonably priced. Dear Bengtnnn!Thank you for taking time to give us feedback! It seemed like this reataurant was open but the entrance was hard to find. Once in the personell were pleasant but with only 2 of us in the place it took forever for our food to be prepared. The staff including the only cook discussed future bookings and logistics while our meal waited to be prepared. When the food arrived it was quite okay but it is not worth a second visit.

Very nice location. Was here in 2010 but kitchen has changed since then. Had previously ordered gratinated crayfish. Got pre cooked ones instead. Got suspicious and start asking abt the Fisk. Our waiter checked with the chef (he should know without asking) and they confirm all fish was frozen. Not at all what we expected. Service was friendly but not professional. Stay away if you are a foodie. Go for a drink instead.

This "allyeararound" Restaurang serves Meat, Fresh Fish and Seafood and a huge selection of drinks. The location just near the water is awesome. Friendly hostess and waiters.The cod fish was fantastic and the coffedrink "AfterEight" was the perfeckt final.If you are around Smögen-Kungshamn you really need to visit this little gem in the heart of Kungshamn.

This is a strong 3, that could easily have been a 5...but...we are disappointed. Mislead or musguided. Or just gullible? Swedish chef of the year 2015 and winner of the "Kockarnas kamp" competition 2018 is part owner and creative whatever...So. He lends his name. To some fancy plates that could so easily have been formiddable, now a sham, a mere disappointment with a bittersweet aftertaste. So. While neighbouring table complained fish was overcooked, ours, same dish, was served raw! There is (was?) ambition. But for heaven's sake, when you lend your name to something, just anything, you need to follow up. We felt short-changed fools going there, and it could easily have been really good!

In July this small town is crowded. So is Tant Anton. Ambitious kitchen with lots of small dishes. Some very good and some not so good. Nice view and very friendly staff.Worth a visit.

We've been there twice. The food tastes as it looks - marveles. The staff is very nice and professionell. Pricing is for Sweden and the quality very good value for money, e.g. 4 dishes and drinks ca. 80 â¬/800 Kronen. Not easy to find, because it is in the second row. You will recognise it from the queue in front of the entrance, but don't worry, you don't have tonwait to long.

After walking along the charming Smögenbryggan we were quite a bit hungry. It was a hot day and we were looking for some good seafood with tables out and some shade.And this place had it all. Our dog was welcome as well. The host / manager showed us to the table. A fun guy - a bit strange humour, but a nice guy.We ordered a plate with King Crab legs and shrimp and a shrimp sandwich. Two glasses of white wine with.Food was fantastic and plenty. Fresh ingredients, good flavours. Shrimps nice and tender.Wine was the perfect match for the seafood - but a bit pricey with 10 bucks a glass.It was nice sitting here, watching the world go by and enjoying some really good seafood. All in all a great choice for lunch. Will come back one day.
