Recommended by our hotel, this very simple, very authentic Sri Lankan restaurant produced a very good Vegetable curry and rice while the granddaughter packed her school bag on the table next to us. Service was very friendly.

Spent a lot of time in Sri Lanka. Hands down the best food I have eaten here. Pre-order Sri Lankan curry was a particular highlight. The owner also has a nice manner to him and is thoughtful in his guidance through the menu. A lot of the overpriced beach side restaurants in the Centre of town would do well to take a leaf out of the White Horses' book. Thank you Edward for your kind words and the wonderful review. Wonder and friendly staff that will do anything for you!The owner has great links to the local area. Provided us a boat with whale watching tour, Champagne, flowers and great recommendations for places to eat on the beach.Also, they supplied a great driver to take us around Sri Lanka.

I was passing through this restaurant towards Hambantota with my family and we stop there for a lunch break (Randomly selected). I am very picky on my foods normally, but I wasn't dissapointed at all with the freshness of the food... Over all the food, service and the atmosphere were great. Happy staffs and happy customer!!! Difinetly, stop by again if I pass by... And for sure recommend to my family and friends!!! Thank you all for the great service...

My Italian friend and I were craving some good Italian food. And they gave us flat fanta, the waitor then complained about how we being fussy.
