Across from the Bahnhof, this restaurant, connected to the brewery, distillery and hotel, served some of the best food we had in Bavaria.
It is always nice when you can have good food, pleasent surroundings and drink local beer. We visited on a Sunday and it was full, but service still very good. Bodenmais is a successful tourist destination so there is a lot of competition, This stands out as good value.

Modern Czech and International cuisine. Majority of our ingredients is locally sourced, our speciallity is lamb meat while keeping the menu seasonal and flexible. As well as our Specials we keep the traditional Czech dishes such as Goulash or Sirloin in a
We visited only restaurant of Hotel Ostry because we were looking for a place where to dine for more days of our stay in Zelezna Ruda. When we came nobody greet us, than we wait about 10 minutes till sbd came to ask what we will drink and eat. I asked for a vine and beef tenderloin without cranberries and whipped cream. My boyfriend decided after 5 minutes, and also ordered beef tenderloin because they were out of another dish he would choose rather than this. Vine seemed to me kind of watered.. Then waitress brought 2 beef tenderloin. Mine was with some remains of cream and the waitress apologised that the chef forgot not to put any cream and cramberries so she tried to get rid of cream with spoon. Disgusting. The plate for my boyfriend was totaly without cream and crenberries, but nobody apologised for that. These ingredients were in the menu and he did not say he does not want it. I will never visit this restaurant again.Hello,I am very sorry to hear that you were dissapointed when visiting this restaurant 6 years ago when there was an old owner running it.We opened this restaurant in June 2019 and we try to make it a special place with some delicious food. It was a perfect evening in good restaurant. We wanted to try something new and the game was a perfect choice. They had a very yummy deer steak. We liked gnocchi stuffed with spinach as well. We liked service and the cleanliness of the restaurant and toilets. The only problem was that portions were too small. We tried Moravian wine here and it was perfect! Cabernet Sauviignon.

V restauraci jsme byli dvakrát na veÄeÅi. Poprvé trvalo hodinu, než jsme dostali polévku a pizzu. Kachnà prsa Å¡ÃlenÄ tuhá a avizovany tymián a med jsem z záplavÄ uho nenaÅ¡la. Pro nas velke zklamánÃ, na základÄ hodnocenà na TA jsme Äekali vÃc.

Good traditional food , lots of meat, salads but they do not have any English translations of their menu which made ordering for those of us who are fussy quite difficult. There is no reason to expect English menus in Germany but it does encourage English travellers to stop thereJust outside is a beautiful lake and children's play area and best of all it is an ideal stop on local walks and cycle paths.Well worthy visit.

It is a very average restaurant. Good soup, meat average taste and preparation. Side-dishes are a problem, especially doubtful baked potatoes and green beans disgusting. Not everything can be cooked in a frying pan with strange fat. Staff at the lower level of capacityThe second place in Bayerisch Eisenstein? What for heavens are the other restaurants?!

Visited in March towards the end of the skiing season. This restaurant is situated on the Grosse Arber in the Nature Park of the Bayerischer Wald. Recently renovated, the restaurant is open all year round. Accessible by ski lift. From a party of four, three had the salad plate, and nobody was disappointed. The Dampfnudel is a specialty.

A real "Wanderers" cabin set in the Nature Park of the Bavarian Forest, 2 hours east of Munich. 5km from Drachselsried. A winter and summer paradise, Very popular for over-night stops and has very good winter cross country skiing. Take the local ski bus in season, says a lot of hard driving.

My cousin and I spent the afternoon hiking up from Hamry on the Czech side of the mountain and the Osserschutzhaus was a very welcome sight. It was a beautiful hike but I was getting thirsty and the Osser Pivo was quite refreshing and the farmers sausages warm and tasty. The view is of course spectacular in all directions. A strong wind and cool temperatures along with a slight drizzle kept most people inside but it was not crowded even then. There are several directions and trails to choose from when choosing to hike here. A good map or a very careful study of one before you embark on your hike is recommended as one trail may branch off into several. You might want to pack a wind breaker or hoodie as the temperature in this region can fluctuate and weather conditions can change rapidly. The menu is small but will consist of typical Bavarian cuisine. Schnitzel, Sausages and the like. I enjoyed the warm sausages I ordered. If hiking from Hamry expect to spend the 2.5 - 3 hours hiking up, an hour at the summit and another 1.5 - 2 hours on your way down. It makes for a great day trip! Perhaps someday I will make it back.

The Berghaus Sonnenfels - at 1,150 m. The restaurant is located in the middle of the Great Arber, a large terrace for sunbathing in summer and winter, a large forest playground. Rest area on beautiful hiking tours. Local cuisine. In the winter, in the mid
Every waiter should go there and see how theses people work. I tzhink it is badly organized but what their staff can deliver is amazing. Very good atmosphere, best spätzle we had in almost a week.
